I was a Costomer for years had no problems. The young owner and the mechanic always ask ma to sell my 2013 Chevy avalanche to them. I never questioned it. Then I brought the vehicle in o is for an engine light and misfire Not being a mechanic but not dumb I told them it’s probably an ignition coil. I’ve had this problem on a different vehicle. I was immediately told it was a defect from the factory in the valve. The told me it was a bent valve. During our conversation over a few days the young owner offered to buy the vehicle for 2500.00. I told him the car fax said it was worth 23000.00. The Mecanic went through a long explanation how the car was not worth anything. Said the same thing happened to him on hi silverado. He tried to intimidate me even to go as far as saying his car was worth more than mine. I realized his mentality and reassured his car was worth more than mine. Just to shut him up. Well I went to a trusted mechanic and he repaired it a few hours the trouble was a coil pack and he changed the spark plug. Car runs like a top. I feel like putting my foot up their ass. But I wouldn’t wan to put myself at risk of being sued by these punks. I would stay away from this shop. They revealed how they’re thinking. NOT TO BE TRUSTED. This type of repair shop does no belong on Staten Island.
