My favorite repair shop
I’ve been getting my cars repaired at Portland Best Auto for several years and I love how much they go above and beyond to get me back on the road without way over charging for their repairs. They make you feel like family more than just a customer.

Disappointing to say the least
Mechanic looked at vehicle for 5 minutes and never told me it would be a 175 dollar fee. He had my keys in his hands and refused to let me leave with my car unless I paid the 175 “inspection fee” I did not receive any documentation/forms indicating that he gave the car a thorough inspection over the vehicle and made any sort of report. I signed nothing when I dropped the vehicle off. He called me 5 minutes after taking the keys for my vehicle to tell me what was wrong with it. I told him I wasnt ready to pull the trigger on fixing the issue, since it’s minor. He did not tell me in any way that it would 175 dollars just to look over the vehicle. I signed nothing stating it would cost anything to look over the vehicle or diagnose the issue. Ive been to this shop in the past and theyve always been very reasonable and haven’t charged me to look over something. The recent reviews online make it seem like ownership has changed and are trying to scam people pretty consistently now.

My Car is Finally Fixed Properly!
I brought my car into Portland Best Auto Repair last week and they did an excellent job. I had some trouble under the hood and they fixed it quickly and efficiently. I also had a problem with my brakes for months that I couldn't figure out. They took a look, found some bent hardware and fixed it for me. They get the job done. Thanks guys!!

Best auto repair shop I've used in years!

Friendly and Efficient!
I can always trust my car at Portland Best Auto Repair. The staff there genuinely care about their customers, and they do their best to get you in and out as quick as possible, without affecting the quality of their service. They are also very reasonable and honest with their pricing.
