Horrible Customer Service and Poor Quality Vehicles!
I will never recommend Hyundai to anyone. This is the second vehicle I have owned that was nothing but issues. Back about a little over 4 years ago I had a 2012 Sonata burst into flames and barely made it out. Hyundai sent it California only to tell me the fire wasn't their fault but refused to tell me why it caught on fire. Now onto my 2018 Elantra. First i had to wait a month and a half for an appointment. I was told my engine was shot and had coolant in the oil. Hyundai immediately pushed back on honoring the 100,000 mile/10 year power train warranty claiming my car fax didn't show regular oil changes. Like most people, my oil changes were done by a family member so they wouldn't be on the car fax. I last had my oil changed in July of 2024. So they took pictures and said there was sludge so they were not honoring my warranty due to my alleged lack of maintenance which is untrue. So now I am stuck with a piece of junk, that i cant tag and owe money on. This car has only a little over 80,000 miles and hasn't been driven since November of 2024. I will be posting this scathing review on every social media site, yelp and i will be contacting an attorney. This is disgusting that they will come up with every reason not to honor their warranties. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND PORTER OR HYUNDAI TO ANYONE EVER!
