I’m sharing on behalf of my father-in-law. 2 weeks ago, my father-in-law went to Platinum Ford and found a Bronco that he liked, but they were charging an additional dealer markup of $4,000. He was not willing to pay a markup, so he left. The salesman called my father-in-law and said that they’re willing to sell at MSRP. So, my father-in-law hid back up there to purchase it. Last week, he went back to Platinum for them to install the Console Vault and a table inside the back of the Bronco, and also check out a warranty situation with wind noise. Whoever did the installation of the table at Platinum ended up screwing in the screws too far where the screw bulged out of the panel of the back door. When it was time for my father-in-law to pick up the Bronco, they did not even mention that they damaged the panel until he brought it up to them. He was very disappointed and said that he wanted to trade it back in since they damaged it. They told him that they will buy it back from him for $7,000 less than he paid because he had it for 2 weeks and put 1,000 miles on it. Do not go to this dealership. They are really shady.
