We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the service you received recently. When you dropped your vehicle off the front office member (who is not related to the owner) advised you that there was no guaranty as to when your vehicle would be checked out since you did not have an appointment. When you called at 4:45 the technician was in the process of checking your vehicle and you were advised that he needed time to research the data he collected. The next day you were advised of his findings and given an estimate for repair. The technician used his diagnostic scan tool to collect the data and then researched the information and the symptoms. The national data base was checked with your vehicle's VIN number for recalls (none) and the dealer was called to verify (only open recall is for an evaporative emission issue). As you were told these dual clutch transmissions were known to have issues that require replacement of parts. Since your advised the office your vehicle did not have "Reverse", the technician did not move the vehicle from where you parked it. The $85.00 that you were charged to run a scan was more than just reading codes. It also included the techicians time and knowledge to research and provide you with a recommendation to fix the issue you are having.
