Wrong Diagnosis
I came in with a check engine light. Guy ran diagnostics said many things wrong go to dealer. Went to dealer. Bad diagnostic mode. Everything fine. Not pleased with philmark charging $100 for nothing

Good morning Mr. Durham,

We are in receipt of your negative review and regret you feeling this way.  We clearly explained to you and showed you that the car had codes coming from the starter battery/high resistance, and a couple of fault codes related to the EVAP leak detection module.  This explanation was also on your receipt.  We cleared the codes and only referred you to the dealer to confirm and have their evaluation as a second opinion if the light was to return. Since the car is new and the mileage is less than 60k - referring to the dealer for a second opinion is because we value your car, and trust and we want to confirm if there is any factory warranty or recall items before we move forward.  They more than likely did not find any issues because we had already cleared all the codes for you and they had not reappreared yet.
