I brought my Grand Prix GXP to Mike with the understanding it would be looked at the same day I dropped it off. That never happened. Two days passed—no call, no text, no update—so I reached out myself. Mike said he thought it might be the lifters and that he’d get to it as soon as he finished the current job. Fair enough—I was patient and gave him time.
Another full week went by. Still no updates. I called multiple times with no answer and no returned calls. Days later, I called again—four times in one day—and was completely ignored. So I showed up in person.
My car was sitting exactly where I left it. No work done. Not even touched.
Mike’s explanation? “I’ve been super busy.” And then he gave me a vague “hopefully next Monday or Tuesday.” After weeks with zero progress and no communication, “hopefully” wasn’t good enough—especially when I was relying on a borrowed vehicle just to get around.
I took my keys back and moved my car to a shop that actually communicates and respects its customers.
