Amazing!! Integrity!! Honesty!! and Respect!!
First let me start by thanking the service adviser Mike W. and the maintenance tech Michael H. for their outstanding customer service, impeccable knowledge and meticulous attention to detail with the diagnosis and repair of my modified/lifted Toyota Tundra. So, I took my wife’s truck in for a diagnosis of a loose rattling noise in the D/S front suspension along with a steadily increasing death wobble at 55-60mph. Before bringing it here to two other specialized off-road shops in the Springs and a dealership that I thought was supposed to reputable, not Toyota nothing against them at all btw. However, amazingly each shop came up with something totally different along with an astronomical price. From one replacing bearings and tires before any further diagnosis could be performed. To the other replacing the rack and pinion, tie rods and mount bushings. To the third ridiculous estimate/diagnosis of completely replacing the entire new but slightly used Icon stage 7 lift and suspension components a complete front and rear brake job and not any mention of replacing at least the front tires which, if you seen them any idiot would know they needed replaced…Really!?!? Just to give you an idea this busines-ship also said both of my front marker bulbs were out and it would only be a mere $160 to remove and replace them. Anyways…I called Patterson Brothers one afternoon, they said bring it in first thing at 8am when we open and within a couple hours Mike called me with a diagnosis not knowing anything about the three previous places I had been and told me first thing the front tires are extremely worn on the inside and have broken belts separating inside which is causing the death wobble and need replaced asap. Second it will need an alignment. I said that’s it? He said yes that’s it. So I said there’s nothing wrong with any of the suspension, tie rods, bearings nothing else? He seemed concerned and said no sir, why was there something else you needed us to look at? I said nope then I explained what I had been told by the others and he had to chuckle and said there is absolutely nothing wrong with any of that suspension or the steering. I can get you a set of tires, have the alignment done and have you back on the road before close of business. I said done deal let’s do it. So my long story short of wasting hours, gallons of gas driving around the city to try and find an honest automotive shop stop wasting your time….bring your vehicles here for no BS rock solid work and service or do what I did and find out for yourself easy choice in my opinion.
