I don’t write reviews often. When I do, it’s because the experience was either exceptional — or something went very wrong. Unfortunately, this has been the worst dealership service experience we have ever had.
They have had my husband’s truck on and off for over three months for the same issue — the check engine light. We have returned it six separate times, and we live nearly an hour away, making this extremely time-consuming and disruptive.
The warranty covered what they initially diagnosed as the problem, but the issue was not resolved. An engineer even flew in and assured us the truck was fixed. It was not. The check engine light came back on immediately after we brought it home.
We are now being told it will cost over $11,000 to repair the truck, yet they are not certain this is the actual issue. It is a suggested repair based on the engineer’s recommendation. Previously, another costly repair was suggested that also turned out not to be the problem. We were nearly charged for that as well before it was dismissed.
We did not purchase the truck at this dealership, but it has been regularly serviced there. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend their service.
When we picked the truck up for the 7th time, it was throwing 3 codes instead of 1. One would think the owner would have checked to make sure the truck wasn’t leaving at least not leaving worse than it arrived before trying to charge us 11,000.
