Poor Customer Service
On about 11/09/22, I took my truck to Patriot Auto and Truck in Middletown, Delaware to have 2 front struts replaced. The work was completed the same day. When I went to pick up my truck, the front of my truck was considerably lower to the ground. The bottom of my truck would scrap the ground when I pulled out of my driveway and the owner told me to bring the truck back in. I took truck in the next day to be fixed. I was told that they don't know why is lower now after they installed the struts. I was told that the parts were correct for my truck when in fact, they were wrong parts. The owner stated that the only way she would refund me for the struts was if I bring the right ones and let them install the correct parts. Kathy even told me that they don't make the part for that truck anymore and chose to put an aftermarket part that was INCORRECT. I since had my truck towed to another shop who put the correct struts on. I'm trying to get a refund on the wrong parts that Patriot Auto ordered and installed and also put my safety at risk. The owner stated she would not refund my money and there is no warranty on parts. My invoice from Patriot clearly states 12 months warranty on parts. Kathy, the owner was very unprofessional and nasty as she continues to attempt to intimidate and threaten me by stating she's going to contact her lawyer for defamation knowing she owes me a refund. The previous owners would have never treated customers this way. Her explanations has changed on several times on why my vehicle is lowered. She even told me that I need to bring the right struts and have her replace them... They will never touch my vehicle. Not because the mechanic isn't a good mechanic, but because the owner mislead me into thinking she would fix the problem she created.
