First of all, I am a woman, and we all know how women tend to be treated when dealing with automotive issues. Having said that my brother is a master mechanic and I've owned more than my fair share of crap cars so I know a thing or two. My husband works "office hours" during the week so I took on responsibility for our car repairs.
I was treated with nothing but dignity and respect. Calvin and Greg were beyond reproach and absolutely wonderful to work with. It was so many little things from thorough explanations, answered questions and absolute transparency from them that set them apart.
My initial quote was 518.00 for suspension related issues that turned into almost double that the next day. Every bush and bearing on our car was bad. We are so blessed to not have been in a serious accident with the state of our car.
When Calvin called he expressed genuine concern for our safety given the findings. It almost sounded like it hurt him to give us the double estimate. After talking to him further I stated that the estimate was just about 75.00 out of our price range but we told him to go ahead.
When I showed the next morning to pay he had found a way to knock off what we are short.
They also finished repairing our car 3 days ahead of schedule.
