I went to pick up my 2015 Lexus LX 570 on Saturday, May 30; however, I was unable to take delivery of the vehicle due to several unresolved issues. The trunk and tailgate, which were replaced during the repair, were not functioning properly. The left reverse light was not working, and the left rear light had not been replaced as expected. Additionally, most of the clips covering the motor area were missing. The vehicle would not start on its own and required a boost. I also observed significant corrosion on the positive battery terminal. Furthermore, the vehicle had not been washed or cleaned in preparation for pickup. Given these deficiencies, I was highly dissatisfied and disappointed with the condition of the vehicle and could not take it with me. The vehicle was clearly not ready for delivery, despite being scheduled for pickup. In addition to correcting all outstanding issues, I believe appropriate compensation should be provided for the inconvenience, lost time, additional travel, and disruption caused by having to make a pickup trip for a vehicle that was not in a roadworthy or completed condition. I would appreciate your prompt response regarding both the corrective actions being taken and the compensation you are prepared to offer to resolve this matter satisfactorily. Thanks in advance.
