Expert Work

Investigation into two issues that we were having with our car.
Charlie and the crew from Owen's went out of their way to look into two issues that we were concerned with our car. They were able to reassure us that both things rectified quickly and didn't charge for their time. I can't recommend them enough. They are not only professional mechanics, but they are honest and will tell you when things don't need to be fixed, which is rare in the day.

Best Auto Shop in Escondido
Owen's is the most honest shop in town. They don't charge for unneeded work done and always do top of the line work. I've been coming here for 20 years and won't go anywhere else.

I am beyond frustrated. I was recommended to Owens by a friend.
Owens come recommended by a customer. Inherited mom's car.
It had an oil leak or something.
I told them I t had and oil leak problem. 3,700 dollars later I've brought it back 3 times. Still has the oil leak issues. Apparently they don't know where as of yet. Everything else was fixed but not what I went in for.
Driving to San Francisco and fear my car will catch on fire as I can smell burning oil . I can only hope it gets resolved before I leave. I'm ready to contact my lawyer at this point.
I was so confident and happy initially because Owens was referred to me highly. I can only share my story.

Reliable and honest
Been going to Owen's for car service ever since I could drive, and my dad always had our cars taken there since I was a baby. Alan and his crew are hands down the most reliable, fast, and HONEST service I've ever worked with. I've done enough of my own car maintenance in the past to know when a shop is feeding me BS or doing an unreasonable markup, and the guys here have always been 100% transparent and honest. Even when I had an issue that was *maybe* still under warranty, one of the guys here advised I save myself money and try to get warranty service first, even if that meant Owen's not getting my business for that particular job.

Also can't beat the location; walk to a cafe on Grand or browse some of the locally owned shops while you wait.
