Completely dishonest an a bunch of crooks
Ive been a mechanic for 26 years an recently replaced a alternator in my wife's car. 4 weeks later , the car stalled on her by her job 3 blocks away from Nut partners. I was at work far away and she had the car towed towards them being that is was the closest place to her at the time. I than instructed her an nut partners that it was most likely a loose ground wire and it should be a quick fix. They than reported back that the problem was actually the new Alternator I had just replaced. I told them that it came from autozone and it was under warranty. I was going to pick it up and exchange it for free and return with a new Alternator. When my wife attempted to pick up the Alternator. They came with a whole new story stating that they returned it themselves and the second Alternator autozone provided "ACTUALLY IGNITED" in the engine compartment and they had to remove it "YET AGAIN" ????? , SO THEY PUT THERE OWN ALTERNATOR IN AND CHARGED HER 500 MORE AND THAN REFUSED TO GIVE HER BACK THE AUTOZONE ALTERNATOR.... I eventually got the Alternator back. When I finally did get to return it. Autozone clearly stated that the unit i had in hand was the original Alternator and it was never returned as nut partner claimed. Not only was it the original Alternator but it was work absolutely fine and they were not going to take it back and return the 300 I had spent on it.,,,,,,,, Best part of the story is that the car stalled once again a week later , this time it was right by my home. When I diagnosed the car. I found the negative battery cable faulty. A LOOSE GROUND CABLE, WHICH WAS THE ORIGINAL PROBLEM I TOLD NUT PARTNERS. I repaired it myself for $10 in parts an 15mins of my time. The whole time it was a $10 problem. And NUT PARTNERS cost me 500 EXTRA ALONG WITH 150 ON A TOW AND NOW STUCK WITH A $300 ALTERNATOR. 900 IN TOTAL !!! And than they argued with my wife a yelled at her for making a review towards their shop. Well TO BAD NUT PARTNERS, NOW THE WORLD KNOWS HOW YOUR ALL A BUNCH OF LAIRS AN CROOKS AN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF CUSTOMERS.
