Great Service
Brought my car in for a state inspection and to fix my tire sensors. Service was done timely and at reasonable price. The staff is friendly and helpfully. I have used this shop for years for tires and have always been happy with the service.

Turn signal Bulb
15 minutes to change a $5 turn signal bulb. Labor $81. I should have been a mechanic.

Hi Rachel, the labor time for your turn signal bulb is .9hrs per Mitchell labor guide. The entire tail lamp assembly has to come out. Our labor rate is $170/hr so it sounds like you got a good deal. Our technicians are experienced and efficient, so they do sometimes get the job done faster than quoted. Jobs are charged by the value of the job, not the stopwatch. This keeps things fair and predictable, for example in the situation it does take longer than that .9hrs, you would not pay more than the .9hrs it calls for.

Truck alignment
Took truck in for alignment since it started pulling left. Guys at shop got it all fixed up and drives nice now. Always a nice experience dealing with shop.

Oil change/tire rotation
Even though an oil change and tire rotation are generally ordinary automotive maintenance, at Nelson’s it’s a step above. It was easy to schedule. The voice on the phone was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. I was able to get my car into the garage in a timely manner - no long wait. And better yet, the car was done when promised! These days it’s hard to find competent and efficient mechanics/garages. I’m happy to say that Nelson’s does a great job. I’ll be using them again. Trust them!
