During my recent visit to Jeep, Dodge, Ram Napleton of Arlington Heights I had an outstanding experience with the service advisor, Chris B. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly, listened attentively to my concerns about my vehicle, and took detailed notes.
What stood out was their transparency and willingness to explain everything clearly — from the diagnostic process to the timeline and cost breakdown. They kept me updated throughout the day via text and a follow-up phone call, which gave me peace of mind.
Over all what a great experience and I would come back in the future.

Lack of communication, follow-up, and a genuine resolution
General update to my prior review: On 2/10/25 Napleton Corporate provided a communication that stated "...because we value our customers and want to help find a resolution, we would happily work with Mr. Fuja to obtain a replacement cover at the dealership cost." Corporate’s response initially appeared to suggest that a replacement cover would be provided at their cost/expense. However, the vague wording led to multiple interpretations. To clarify, I attempted to contact Napleton Corporate 4–5 times over the course of a week, leaving my contact information each time and even a voicemail in one instance. Despite these efforts, I never received a single follow up response via phone or email.
Due to the lack of communication, I resorted to sending a screenshot of Corporate’s response to the Napleton Arlington Heights dealership’s customer relations team for clarification. After several days, I finally received a text message stating "...after further review of this - corporate was saying that they can sell a bed cover at dealership cost meaning at a discount... not at the dealership costs." which turned out to be $1,395—more expensive than purchasing the same cover directly from the manufacturer for $1,308.
In summary, Corporate’s response was initially misleading, no effort was made to clarify their position despite multiple outreach attempts, and the supposed “discount” was actually more expensive than purchasing the item independently. The lack of communication, follow-up, and a genuine resolution is highly disappointing.

Major Safety Issue No Responsibility
I purchased a 2024 used Dodge Ram from Napleton Arlington Heights for $50,353 (pre trade-in) on 12/27/2024 which had ~16k miles on it and had a truck bed cover on it (BAKflip G2). The first few weeks post purchase the truck was only used for driving locally to/from home and train station and the truck bed cover was not used/touched. Upon driving the truck on the highway for the first time (1/19/25) (with my wife and 2 young daughters), once the truck up got up to 65pmh, the truck bed cover (BAKflip G2) immediately flew off the back of truck and almost caused subsequent accidents to cars driving directly behind the truck at the time. Upon researching the truck bed cover make and model it is clear that there are supposed to two flat bolts with rubber washers that secure the cover (cab side) to silver slotted brackets underneath. To the extent the bolts came loose/detached, they would have fallen into the bed of the truck based on how they are installed up into the metal brackets; however, there were no bolts in the bed of the truck. Upon contacting the dealership and reporting the incident, the dealership communicated (specifically the GM, Matt Hadziahmetovic) that it takes no responsibility for selling a truck that had a bed cover not properly installed / checked and posed a major safety hazard. Additionally, the dealership refuses to repair the truck / provide a replacement cover (cost ~$1,350 for new cover uninstalled). Ultimately the dealership was happy to advertise and sell the truck as having a truck bed cover, but not care about checking the safety of the truck bed cover before letting a customer purchase and drive off with a large safety concern and zero attempt at trying to make things better after the becoming aware of the issue. I hope others can read this and take this into consideration when assessing how vehicles may be sold at Napleton Arlington Heights dealership and dealt with by its GM.

Horrible experience!!!
If I can, I would never do business with this dealership again. Aside from trying to take advantage of my lack of knowledge on automobiles, the sales person got well within my comfort zone and spit in my face. Although it was unintentional, he noticed and would not apologize. When I stepped away to try to be comfortable, he stepped closer and continued to spit and talk down to me.
They told me that I needed a new wiring harness because my headlights went out. By God’s grace, a coworker of mine helped me out and all I needed to do was change a few blown fuses. They were about to charge me $2500 for an issue that was fixed for less than $20.
My coworker called my warranty to see what the dealership said the issue was and they told them that it appeared that a rodent chewed through my wring harness. Mind you, none of this was communicated to me AT ALL. Again, I changed my fuses a month and a half ago, and my lights are still working.
I’m not sure why people try to drain you and get all of your money by being greedy and dishonest. When in fact, if you were honest and did honest work to help the people that trust you, you’d get a great reputation for being caring and decent. You might not get $2500 right then and there but you’d probably get more from customers spreading the word about you doing good business. Subsequently, you’d make more money from referrals and word of mouth.
I was already nervous and concerned about being taken advantage of by people that just wanted to take my money, and nonetheless, it ended up happening anyway.
Like I said, if I could help it, I would never go back here..EVER. And I don’t recommend anyone else go here. I would never treat anyone the way they treated me.

Bait-and-Switch Dealer: Avoid Thus Dealer
List a fake price on the Internet in a classical bait-and-switch. Shady dealer. Avoid these types of dealers. This type of shenanigans should tell you the type of people you will be dealing with.

Beware of svc dept
Sales dept is ok, service is another story. Short story is: If you are a COD customer, get ready to pay for repairs you dont need. If you are under warranty, get ready to wait patiently (months, years) while Napletons CDJR maybe or maybe-not fixes your issue.
Long story: my van (bought at Napletons CDJR) went in for transmission issues in the summer of 23. I was immediately told by the service advisor that it will need a new transmission. All was set until it was revealed to them that this was a CPO vehicle with a Dodge 100k powertrain warranty. They backtracked what had been said, flushed the trans, and sent me on my merry way. Drove 1 mile, came back to dealership, something is not right. Drove with a technician who stated something is definitely not right, but the "tramsmission tech" who diagnosed it has left so he will have to take a look at it. Left it with them just to be told by said technician that all is normal as "his own van does this also". Spoke with PR for the napleton group who scheduled a second opinion when they can get me a rental. The second opinion was with the same technician who of course said the same thing again. Ironically the same vehicle (my loaner) did not exibit any of these traits. No explation for that. Few months later, more transmission issues that came and went, more service visits, "no problem found". On one trip to the dealer they found a "failed transmission filter". This is a part that needs its first service/replacement at 120k miles per manual, and has already been replaced multiple times by the service department by 80k miles. Yes, they made me pay for a part that has been replaced by them less than 6 moths prior, and original shouldnt need touching for another 40k miles. Another few months later the erratic shifting is still present and now dash lights lead to another service visit. A week later a bandaid fix and a valvebody is replaced. Same shifting issues but no more dash light. Now its january '24 and the vehicle is barely driveable. Bring it in for an appt, just to find out a day later that thay cannot do anything because they need it to be on a weekday. Made an appt for early February. After 1 week of updates (total of 2) from the service coordinator stating that a tech is on it and figuring things out with Stelantis engineering, i find out that the vehicle hasnt even been touched because walk-in customers take priority over scheduled warranty work. The days go by, more excuses,( 2 weeks later) a new transmission and all parts were received last week (3/1) but this is a "big job" and will be done by mid next week (3/12+). Its been a month and the vehicle is still not fixed, and the service coordinator is stating that it takes over 1 week to install a transmission. During the time the vehicle has been in the service department, i received more calls from their "purchasing department" about buying the vehicle than updates from service coordinator. This service department is an absolute joke.

False advertising
Having to BID on a car that is advertised ONLINE FOR SALE at $98,970 is disingenuous and a scam. Do NOT buy from this store! Take your money elsewhere. ??????

Terrible service!!!
I do NOT recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. My sales person was great, but the GM has been horrendous to deal with. I purchased a used vehicle (2022 Kia with 26k miles on it) from this dealership. Within 24 hours, the car broke down on the highway and had to be towed to the nearest Kia dealership to be serviced. After it sat in service for 2 weeks, I was notified that the part that was necessary for the repair could not be ordered and they had no timeline on when I may get my vehicle back. I notified Napleton of all of these issues as soon as I was made aware. I asked that they take the car back as a return. They said they would only take the car back if I purchased an additional vehicle through them. They didn't have any vehicles in their inventory that suited my family's needs that I felt comfortable purchasing. They refused to let me return the vehicle outright, so I opted to keep my vehicle under the condition that they cover my first month's payment. It has now been over 4 weeks without my vehicle and Napleton only offering to cover 1/4 of the payment on a vehicle that I haven't even had since it was purchased. It is going to be an additional 2-3 weeks before I get the vehicle back. The GM feels he is being "generous" with his offer. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!

Poor Sales - Worse Service
I had a poor experience with the used car sales team. The finance department didn’t have my title until long after the promised date. My salesman lied to me about servicing the brakes on my vehicle. The service department actually didn’t perform the maintenance work they were paid to do. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. They are unprofessional, they cut corners, and they lie. I will never come back here.

Run away from this place
AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COST!
Purchased a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee on June 19, 2023, no financing paid cash. On July 9, 2023 I was informed from Stephanie, the title clerk, the dealership was waiting on the title from the auction they purchased the vehicle from. Being that I work in the auto industry and have connections at the auction they purchased my Jeep from, I reached out and located the title. They sent the title to Napleton on July 11 (in Illinois it is illegal for dealerships to sell vehicles or advertise them if they do not have title in hand, this was confirmed by secretary of state police).
They finally got the title and flipped the title several times and then submitted it to be transferred into my name. Along the way they they didn’t send all the required documents to secretary Of State and my paperwork kept getting rejected.
Today is August 3, 2023 and my title and registration was rejected yet again for improper paperwork. 46 days later I’ve stopped driving the Jeep because I’ve been pulled over twice due to no valid registration.
Their corporate office finally got involved today after I threatened a lawsuit. I will update this review once I get the title and let you all know the final outcome.
I was also informed Napleton in the State of Illinois has 31 complaints in the last 3 years for this same thing!
I’d suggest doing business elsewhere!

worst service
I went to code the batteries to this service they charged me $1200, they didn't give me any replacement car being there four times in a row with the same fault. When they gave me the car back, they didn't tighten the battery cables and didn't connect the cubes with the cables, which caused the car to immobilize again ... never give the car to be repaired there!
