I went to Naples Auto and Truck because my car began to misfire and the check engine light went on, I was far from my home 45 miles and did not want to drive the car with a misfire. I was over charged for diagnosis of the car, they did not explain diagnostic cost when I left the car with them or I would have not left my car there knowing what I pay at a great well respected auto shop by my home, to me it just means I will be paying more for the job done and I was correct as I have gotten my car fixed.
Naples Auto and Truck even charged a parts fee
And
Hazmat fee - what did he dispose of nothing on a diagnostic bill?
86.67 dollars in total to diagnose the car that took another mechanic approximately 15 minutes to diagnose. When I questioned the 86.67, I was treated with disrespect and told by law I can charge a full hours rates to diagnose a car, that says much for me about this auto shop.
His quote for the work needed 999.00 they would not put it in writing with the car diagnostic bill because they knew at that point I called up to the auto shop by my home and had gotten prices for the parts at auto zone.
The auto shop by my home charges 30.00 for diagnosis of car every time. No problem I gladly offered Naples Auto and Truck they refused. Too late for me they already had my car without disclosing their very high diagnostic fee.
Naples Auto and Truck would have cost me another 15 percent more for the same work with an attitude in and I wouldn't have to pay an outrageous 86.67.
