poor inconsiderate service and absolutely overpriced what a scam never returning
The day after the service, my boyfriend and I were replacing the rotors on my car. Upon removing the final wheel, one lug nut had been previously incorrectly screwed on by the last person to remove my tire, which was this shop. When carefully removing the nut, the wheel stud inevitably snapped because it was cross threaded and had been tightened extremely hard. Those parts had to be ordered and replaced and I was forced to drive with a missing lug nut in the meantime. Additionally, even with the axle replaced, there still seems to be an occasional yet persistent clanking noise which makes it seem as though someone incompletely diagnosed the problem or it was a faulty repair. Either way, it was an absolutely ridiculous price to pay for the low quality service I received. Not to mention, the reason I picked this place was because they advertised a free rental car, but it was completely impossible for me to get one. I won’t be returning here ever again, they scammed me out of over $800 for the same exact repair that I recently discovered is offered at $500 for OEM parts elsewhere. Honestly, I deserve a refund. I’ll definitely never ever be coming back here ever again.

Appointments don’t exist. Poor customer service. Car still not fixed.
DO NOT GET ANY WORK DONE AT THIS PLACE. Let me be as direct and factual as possible. Here is why they are not a good business.
- They were quick to take my nearly $1200 for an AC repair, but when it was finished, nothing had changed. Same exact problem. They were not excited to continue looking at my vehicle. Next is why:
- They told me it could be up to two weeks before they could look at the problem, and I would need to leave the vehicle there in case something changed. I explained that this vehicle was how I made a living and could not afford to do that.
- I asked, and tried to reason with them about this. Matt at the counter basically said he didn’t care and everyone gets treated the same. Leave it or it won’t get looked at.
- I tried to work out a future date that I could schedule the work to be done to make right what they did not fix, and was promptly told again that they would NOT do that under any circumstances. Matt followed this up by saying a business next to him spends over $100k a year with them and they have to wait, why shouldn’t I?
- I further pushed to emphasize that I didn’t have other vehicles to use like them and could we please schedule a time to fix what I paid for. Matt’s response was “if you wanted to schedule when work gets done then you should have picked a large shop that does that. Here you just get in line and wait.
- None of this was expressed to me initially and they had no problem taking my vehicle right away, but now that it isn’t resolved, they will get to it whenever they can.
- I even called ahead when I found the issue wasn’t fixed and thought I set up an ‘appointment’ for Friday since I was told to bring it in Friday morning and leave it. The vehicle sat there all day and wasn’t touched. That’s when I got the ‘we don’t work weekends, but you’ll need to leave it and maybe we look at it next week. Completely inconsiderate and disregard for their customers.

So save yourself the frustration and a huge headache. Avoid these people at all costs. They do NOT have your best interest in mind and are not interested in any follow up work that’s not a quick fix. Now I am stuck with a vehicle that has not been repaired and wasted money with them.

Very Happy New client
My Beetle (Ms B) finally reached that milestone mileage —100,000- and I know some extra TLC was needed as gained her senior citizen status.
Time for a transmission fluid change and wellness check (just had oil change done elsewhere 🥴)
My experience, from the first phone call to the check out, was GREAT. Very fair service pricing, honesty and didn’t try to sell up. Answered my questions. I requested estimate/quote for future preventative services and I will be scheduling those in the future.

My daughter’s check engine light came on. I was moving her to Murfreesboro for a job. I picked your shop because it wasn’t far from her apartment. Matt was nice the times we talked on the phone. I got a sticker shock on a $3,100 bill and three days without the car. The car is running fine the one day we have had it back.

Service was performed while I waited. The lobby was comfortable, and the service was completed quickly. They also evaluated my current tire condition and gave me recommendations for a better and more appropriate tire.

Mercedes Repair
My Mercedes C300 started running poorly and clearly had an issue. I called the team at Murfreesboro Auto Repair to troubleshoot the issue. They quickly found the problem and corrected it quickly. I was also offered a loaner car to get work. The team was knowledgeable, and kept me up to date on repair progress. Highly recommended!
