I went into Murdock Hyundai solely interested in a 2015 Buick enclave. There was a point where I was a bit overwhelmed with information but JJ Johns helped me through it and did all that he could so that I can go home with the Buick!

Lack of communication time after time after time........
Bought a new 2023 Palisade and things were great at the first, the sales team was super professional and polite. At about 2000 miles a piece of trim came off of the car while driving down the road. We called the dealership and they asked us to come in that day so they could see what was going on. Upon looking at it Matt determined that it was faulty and they were going to order a new piece under warranty. They take pictures and assure us that they will call us when the part comes in and they can put it on. We drive away with full confidence our part will be ordered and we will not have to drive a new car around that has a missing piece of trim. TWO months go by and we hear nothing, so I call them to see what the status is. To my alarm I learn that nobody knows anything of my situation. This person tells me that she will get it figured out if I can send some pictures of the missing trim. I send them and hope for the best. I wait a few days and call back to ensure my situation has been resolved and once again, nobody knows what is going on. I am informed that the person I talked to a few days prior only works part-time and she would be working the following week. This is customer service??? Nick in the service department promises me he will figure it out by the end of the day. He gets my part ordered and it comes in 2 days. He did an awesome job. I go to get my first oil change about a week later and was hoping to talk with Matt about falling through the cracks and being forgotten about. I call the dealership before I go in and ask if Matt will be there, I did not want to go in if he was not going to be there. Receptionist tells me he will be there all day. When i get there I ask to speak with Matt and come to find out that he is out on vacation, he will be back the following week. Nobody knew what was going on there. Being frustrated with all these communication problems, I reach out to the guest experience manager, Curtis. As I meet with him he is quick to write down all my concerns and tells me he will meet with Matt and find out what went wrong so they can keep it from happening in the future. He assures me he will make it right with me for all the hassle. I tell him that just the communication would be great to know that it gets fixed. I wait a month and do not hear anything back from him. I send him a text expressing my concern and hear nothing back from him. I am sure that as this review gets posted I will be contacted and they will care then when their reputation is put out for people to read. It is simple, just do what you say you are going to do, that is all that people care about. Just frustrating when you are told one thing and it is not followed through.

Kelly Kidman was a great resource in getting my KIA car repaired after I had the misfortune of hitting a deer in North Logan about 1;30 in the afternoon. Very Professional !!! and his fellow worker continued to do so also. I am grateful for their skills & customer service!!!!!!!!

Some nice melted plastic left on the brand new engine
I’ll start off with the good. While everyone else was putting big markups on new cars and huge wait times, Murdock logan was by far the fastest and best priced. We ordered a new 23 palisade caligraphy and it only took a month or two before it arrived, and lucky enough to get the colors we wanted! Things went pretty smoothly so far and we were happy, signed the contract, all that jazz. We’re from SLC so we set up a time before buying to come up and check it out. Asked to see two cars: a Palisade and Merc GLE they had. Only the palisade was there when we arrived but not that big of a deal.

Ordered a new one, and waited for it. It arrived and we get a call to come get it. Now we come to Saturday, Sept 4 for the pickup day. The salesman we had been working with doesn’t meet us even though we set up a time a week prior. Some other guy helped us through it and give us a quick rundown of the car's dashboard. No real pomp. No ceremony. Felt extremely rushed and forced out the door. They took our photo and no mention of sending us a copy. Didn't even know that we owed the rest of the down payment. We could have just driven off and I'm sure that would have been a headache. So we head on over to VW to do the rest of the money. Still at this point, zero "thank you" for buying a car. Finance people don't see to care at all that we're buying one. Anyway, we sign and off we go. Drove the car to relatives and noticed it smelled like something melting. Well, the engine still had plastic covers all over everything, which had melted and replaced that lovely new car smell. I had to take them off myself and who knows if I got them all. Off I go back to Hyundai and figured since their building was under construction ill take it over to VW where we signed the papers. They said nope, take it back to Hyundai service. Well can't, they're closed. Drive it around to the service bay and they say take it to the lot tech. He's great but doesnt quite get what I'm asking for. I wanted to see if I managed to get all the plastic wrapping off so it doesnt get stuck somewhere it shouldn't. I texted our sales guy and again, nothing back from him. No thank you, no sorry about the plastic we the dealer should have taken out. Also, random little plastic film coverings throughout the car. I mean at least leave the big long satisfying ones so we can pull it off ourselves if we're going to do this. Finally, take it back to the sales trailer and ask another salesman if he can look at it. He was nice and says no plastic. But who really knows if it's all out of there. No real "sorry for the screw up". I wasn't expecting like a free car or something but I was hoping for a bit more than just a "well that sucks, seems like you got it all out, good luck!" This was our first brand new expensive car from a dealer I had heard good things about. We drove 2 hours to this place and still have not received any real apology or anything. Won't be returning and I can only imagine how the future service is going to go on this thing if this is how buying the car went. Not looking forward to it...

Excellent experience
I recently accompanied my daughter to Murdock Hyundai in Logan to purchase her first car. We chose Murdock Hyundai of Logan based on references from several of my family members who have also purchased cars from them. We arrived and parked and didn't even make it across the parking lot before we were greeted by Wendy. She was very friendly and absolutely amazing to work with. She was not pushy and only showed us vehicles in the price range we gave her. She didn't try to pressure us into anything we didn't want. She explained what she knew about the different cars and found answers to questions we had that she didn't know. She allowed us to test drive one of the cars and we drove it around to several different places over the course of an hour or so, with no issue. At one point my daughter was a little anxious about buying her first car and Wendy was extremely patient and let us have time to discuss and work things out. Ultimately my daughter decided to purchase the car and the process from that point was just as seamless and easy as it had been up to that point. Overall the experience was wonderful and I would recommend Wendy and Murdock Hyundai of Logan to anyone looking to buy a vehicle. Thanks Wendy, and all the team at Murdock Hyundai of Logan.

I realize it you’re rebuilding and putting in a car wash. But part of the purchase when we got this car was safety inspections which they no longer do so I thought do a free emission check that’s $15 every two years. And take the car and have it washed at a car wash if you don’t have one. that was another promise when we purchased a car.
