Called for a repair of whirlpool water pump. Was asked if I had the part and was told the repair man would bring the pump. Quinton Smith showed up. Looked at the washer and asked me for the pump. Told him he was to bring the part. He asked me who told me that and I said his office. Anyway, he held out his laptop, told me he was ordering a water pump and a service charge, to sign here. He told me he would be back in 3 days and left. I then noticed that he had charged my account 360.00 dollars. I have repeatedly called MR APPLIANCE, who is in the Aiken Augusta area, with no response at all. Mr appliance didn’t come back in 3 days. I ended up driving to Augusta, bought the part for 37.00, did it myself

Dryer and microwave
First of all the button on the microwave stop working and the microwave door would not open. They had to order the part said they would be back the next week to install it cost was $500. We didn’t see him the next week and was told when we called it was back order and would take a month. After it was finally installed the door still didn’t open. They said we now need another part. Spent $500 on nothing. Don’t use this repair company. They don’t know what they are doing.

Wish I had read reviews before called thia business
Problem with washer, couldn’t diagnose the problem, will be throwing parts at it when they arrive, had to order new shocks, problem is when machine spins and he didn’t even stay long enough to watch it spin. Won’t use this business in the future. Will add to post once new parts are installed, I have no confidence problem will be fixed!

Terrible service. Don't use
The owner/"technician arrived late. He was scheduled to arrive between 8 and 12 and finally showed up at 2:30.
I had a problem with my refrigerator that it wasn't cooling. Without even doing an inspection, he announced that the compressor was bad and it would be $5000 - $6000 dollars for the repair!!
As it turned out, there was nothing wrong with the compressor, the coils just needed cleaning which I did this morning, and now the fridge runs great again.
It is a shame that these people get away with such dishonesty.

Changed for the better
After being initially frustrated with Mr. Appliance for taking so long to get repair parts and then being unresponsive I canceled my follow-up appointment.
The same day I canceled I received a phone call from the Operations Manager. She wanted to know why I'd canceled the appointment. I explained my experiences. She asked me to take an appointment two days out so the part needed could be obtained.
Two days later the tech was here, with the part, and made the repair. All is working fine now.
Thanks to Mr. Appliance's Aiken Operations Mgr. for getting involved and getting it done for me.

Completely Unresponsive
This company did a repair on my refrigerator ice maker in December and replaced a leaking ice-maker water line. A few weeks later the replacement part failed spewing water onto my kitchen ceiling. I called the company and sent an email with picture showing the failed part. During the course of a solid week I could not get them to even confirm whether or not they had received my email. I canceled the follow up visit and repaired it myself. It was a lot less frustrating to fix it myself than deal with this company. Completely Unresponsive. Don't waste your time and money.

Slow Getting Repair Parts
The tech worked on my home refrigerator on 10/16. Discovered the ice maker water line was leaking and the part had to be ordered. Said it would take 2 weeks. Three weeks later I had to call to get status. Notice that I didn't get a call from Mr. Applicance saying the part would be late! I'm told the part is scheduled to arrive on 11/16. We'll see.

Sorry to say this but don't bother
Said to say but this looks like one of these new internet franchises that wont make it. I support all small businesses that deserve it. They came July 30 and got a $150 deposit on a part that would be in 7-10 days. After 3 weeks I inquired and told UPS and Fed Ex were letting them down on delivery. Gave up and turned to Beech Island and they came 9/4, said they would have part 9/22 and installed it on 9/22 despite UPS or Fed Ex delivery problems.
