Great experience with the people and dealership as a whole
Motor Cars of Lasing has many different high-end vehicles that are jaw dropping beautiful along with regular everyday vehicles that are just as nice.
Kathleen I. (Kat) was my 1st contact, very friendly and genuine. She went to work looking for a vehicle that suited my list of must haves over a course of a couple days. Kat made sure I was taken care of. She introduced me to Micheal B. who was just as friendly and sincere. He listened, answered all my questions without making me feel I was taking up his time and was NOT pushy.
I had saved for quite a while to purchase a newer vehicle; it is a large investment, and the process was stressful just thinking of it.
I was also introduced to Simone. Kat, Micheal and Simone made the process pleasant and stress free. Even though I was not buying a luxury high-end vehicle; I was treated just as important. Family is important to me, and they are a family-owned business with family working together. The atmosphere was very relaxed and pleasant even though everyone was very busy.
I love my vehicle and highly recommend Motor Cars of Lansing. I had a great experience!

SHADY BUSINESS
I purchased a 2018 Expedition from them a few years back with around 35k miles. 3 days after purchase I noticed the AC stopped working. I brought it back and was told the issue was fixed. This was towards end of fall so we didn’t need to use the ac until the next spring. Once again, the ac stopped working. We took it back again and they said they topped it off with coolant but everything else looked great. At the beginning of this spring the ac once again stopped working. When I contacted them about this they said they were sorry, but there’s nothing they can do. We then took it to a (reputable) dealership who immediately let us know there was a leak and likely had been for quite sometime. When I let motor cars know that, they once again ignored me. Fast forward to this last week- we were just told that we need a brand new transmission. 2 years, needs a new ac, a new transmission and already had to have the sunroof replaced because that also broke. When dealing with their sales manager, George, I let him know I was going to express my experience with my network, to which he threatened to contact my company. He googled information about me to try and threaten me. Stalking customers seems like bad business to me. If you look online, you will also see there was a news article written about how they blackmailed a customer to take down a negative review. DO NOT BUY FROM ANY OF THESE DEALERSHIPS.

Highly Recommended
Surecritic allows multiple negative reviews by the same person regarding a single transaction. I sold my used vehicle to Motorcars of Lansing and it was a very positive experience. Don't use the reviews on this site to make your decision on where to do business.

Deceptive practices
BUYER BEWARE! I bought the car from out of state, I asked the salesman Tommy Lilies if the car would pass inspection and his answer was yes. The car did not pass inspection, it needed new brakes and 4 new struts. The repairs are over $10,000, don't trust their word. John the owner is aware of the broken car that he sold me. Also, they have yet to send me my warranty paperwork. I have to higher an attorney and spend more money due to the poor customer service and deceitful practices of the dealership. One star is to much for this poor excuse of a business.

Buyer Beware
BUYER BEWARE This dealership sold my son a death trap. We got a second opinion and that dealership stated this car should be in a scrap yard.. If you cherish your life and want a safe vehicle..buy elsewhere because the owner of this place doesn't care about his customers safety. Oh and make sure you bring your own battery..apparently you have to buy your own to drive your new car off the lot!

Deceptive practices
The owner John and Tommy sold me a car with bad brakes, shocks and paint damage. I am from out of state and they told me that there are no problems with the car. They are not taking care of the problem and have stopped return my calls. I would never buy from them. Bad business. ?

Sold us a LEMON
My son purchased his first car from here in March 2021, it is now August, and we just found out the engine is blown, to the tune of a $3,500 repair bill. My son spent his whole savings, and graduation gift money to buy what we thought was a nice used vehicle (he still spent $4500 on purchasing it). The car has overheated since the first month, we took it into the shop and the thermostat was in upside down (that should have been our first clue), thought that would take care of it, but nope three weeks later, right back in the shop, overheating...now I can't even find a valid phone number to the place?

Poor customer service as alaways
Shady service dept. Dishonest onwer. Car in shop for 9 days for a warranty fix. Owner told me today he was going to put my car back together and not fix. Even tho he sold me the warranty. Called warranty company myself and found out service dept was being dishonest.
