Ok work some corners were cut
My experience was OK the transmission seems to be shifting fine. Currently dealing with a leaking transfer case. The transfer case shifter seat was Deteriorated and most likely came off attached to the t case shifter. no new shifter seat was installed. I replace it along with a gasket and oil Deflector witch is another gasket that goes around where the shifter sits into the transfer case. This has fixed the leak from there. I was told they fixed the issue with rtv but there wasn't any rtv there when I took it apart to fix the leak. Don't know if that was a lie or what but definitely wasn't any rtv where they said it would be. Transmission pan also has a cork gasket installed where rtv is supposed to be used. I don't really like that. I might change that in the future. Unfortunately I've cleaned the transfer case multiple times now and I'm still finding a bit of gear oil Accumulating at the very bottom bolt where the Transfer case is attached to the transmission. I'm hoping it is just leftover gear oil from the leak at the shifter, but we will see.
