I took my Hyundai Tucson 2019 for a service (with appointment 2 weeks prior) at 10am ,I was hearing a brake noise and other weird noise on a passenger side,I spent 5 hours waiting for my car. At 3pm I asked for my car , they not even look it,I told them again what was the problem, the guy in front went back to the shop and said your brake pads are 2mm on front and 3mm on the back ,I said change it and what about on the passenger side, they said maybe it’s the bearing, they went back to the shop, and 10 minutes later my car was in the front (?)I said, it’s ready? And they said “nothing wrong with your car”.I left the dealer with the same problem, noise on brakes and the same noise on passenger side. Very lazy service.I tried to contact the manager but his assistance said is too busy or he isn’t there. I’m not recommended this dealer.?

Zero Integrity...Zero Accountability
I previously left a review on Google that explained how Modern Hyundai threatened to call the police on my disabled 70 year mother after they refused to acknowledge the service agreement that Modern negotiated at vehicle purchase. I have an update. My mother has since taken her vehicle to another Hyundai/Genesis store in which they acknowledged/accepted the agreement without complication. I have emailed both the Modern owner, Mr Fowler, and the store's GM, Mr Wilborne twice regarding the matter. Neither of them have responded. While I'm disappointed, I'm thankful there was another Hyundai dealership who had the integrity to honor the contract that Modern negotiated but failed to honor, themselves. At the least, a formal apology is appropriate. I would greatly appreciate if Mr Fowler and Mr Wilborne would respond to my emails pertaining to the matter.

Mia Wallace
Mia Wallace was our sales person who was very friendly and when we told her that we wanted to lease a 2024 Hyundai Elantra....it was quick action! She found a car that we liked and within a short time of paperwork, etc......we drove off with our 2024 leased car. If you want to buy a car or lease a vehicle at Modern.....ask for Mia Wallace.

Worst experience by far
Had a frustrating experience at the car dealership due to excessively long waiting times for service. Despite making an appointment, the delay was significant, impacting my schedule. Improved efficiency is needed to enhance customer satisfaction.Disappointed with the car dealership's service – encountered issues with communication and resolution. Staff seemed indifferent, and the overall experience fell short of expectations. I regretfully cannot recommend this car dealership based on my experience. Poor service, unprofessionalism, and a lack of customer focus were notable issues. I advise exploring alternative options for a more satisfying and reliable car-buying experience.

Bought 3 cars, there will NOT e a fourth.
Bought 3 cars from Modern Hyundai of Concord over the years. I get that mechanics are hard to come by, and although it’s annoying that their service department is backed up for weeks on end for even routine services, I get it. When my Veloster threw a rod however (a known issue covered under engine class action lawsuit) not only would they they not accept the tow, but this loyal customer was refused even a diagnostic for SIX WEEKS! No further help. No further suggestions. They wouldn’t even call around to other dealerships. Love my Veloster and I’ll be dropping a new engine in, but as inconvenient as it may be, I’ll be doing that elsewhere. Avoid this dealership. Their after-purchase customer service is comically awful.

My wife and I went in last night and bought 2 brand new vehicles from Richard Tillman and it was truly enjoyable, he was very knowledgeable about both vehicles we purchased And mad the process easy will definitely be seeing him for our next purchase.

If you are a returning customer to MODERN..... I RUN FROM HERE!! THEY CHEAT YOU OUT OF THOUSANDS ON YOUR TRADE IN EVEN AFTER AGREEING TO TRUECAR SALES PRICE. AND THEN THEY (TONY SALES MANAGER AND GENE ANOTHER ONE WITH TITLE AND EGO NO COMMON RESPECT FOR YOU) ARGUE WITH YOU OVER WHAT YOUR ACTUAL WINDOW STICKER WAS EVEN IF YOU HAVE IT.
TRY TO TELL YOU THAT THEY KNOW.... WELL NOT... I PURCHASE MULTI MILLIONS A DAY FOR BILLION $ COMPANY. MY HUSBAND BEEN ON AUTOMOTIVE SUPPLY SIDE 27YRS AND FAMILY RETIRED FROM GM AND FORD.
I DO KNOW WHAT I'M SAYING.
THEN THEY TACK ANOTHER FEW THOUSAND ON TOP OF MSRP TO MAKE CERTAIN YOU GET A GOOD SLAP. BECAUSE YOU WILL ALWAYS BE UPSIDE DOWN ON TRADE. IT'S NOT A SHORTAGE ANYMORE IT'S A DEALER ISSUE AND GREED.
