A mechanic shop I look forward to visiting
I'm VERY faithful when it comes to mechanics. I used the same mechanic for a decade throughout my 20s for my Scion, but after getting my Countryman, I knew I needed to find a mechanic that specialized in MINIs. I feel so lucky to have found Ben's shop. It's conveniently close to my residence, the phone is always picked up, the customer service is excellent both over the phone and in person, and I don't feel taken advantage of, nor spoken to a certain way that mechanics tend to speak to women that go alone to a shop. I can't take apart and put together an engine, but I can understand what a mechanic is telling me regarding parts and functions of a car. Ben doesn't speak to me condescendingly, which after many bad experiences with mechanics throughout my life, I greatly appreciate. That's usually my test when I get my car serviced outside of my usual mechanic, and Ben passed with flying colors. I knew this was going to be the shop for my MINI after my first visit. But after having my car serviced by him a second time, 2 months after my initial visit, Ben is irrevocably stuck with me as a client.

Great Company with Great People
I turned in my BMW because I received an alert that my break pads were at a critical level. I turned my car in and they let me know that my break pads were fine, but that I needed a new sensor…which was way cheaper than new break pads. I appreciated their honesty and I’ve never had a bad experience here. Their pricing is very reasonable and I won’t be taking my car anywhere else from now on.

Expensive repair, but expected and done right!
I have had 3 Minis. A new 2004, an 2012 coupe and now have purchased a pre-owned 2012 Cooper S Clubman with 6 speed manual to flat tow behind my motorhome and the first time out the dreaded check engine light appeared…. Towed it to Ben and though it was not supposed to be repaired (high pressure pump!) until the next week it was done in one day! He understood my frustrations and worked late and came in on Saturday to meet me so I could get the car. Kudos!
