Way over priced due to the diagnostic. The issue needed no special machine to figure out so I was out 150 for nothing. Left tools in vehicle afterwards.

Hi.  I'm sorry you feel our price was unfair.  We charge for diagnostic time because it does take some of the technician's time to verify the problem whether we use diagnostic equipment or not.  We only charged you 20 minutes ($60) of diagnostic time which was used to make sure that we would be fixing the correct problem.  Just like everyone else that works, I have to pay them for their time, which is why we can't do free diagnosis.  Also, we are required by the State of California to verify tire pressures, which takes a few minutes and adds to the diagnostic time as well.  A lot of shops require a minimum of an hour diagnostic time, which we do not.  So again, I'm sorry you feel the price was unfair, but I stand by our pricing.
