Unacceptable behavior from Brandon, Mavis deserves better
I am not someone who writes online reviews, especially negative ones. But after what I experienced today at Melvin’s Tire & Auto by Mavis, I couldn’t walk away in silence.
This review is not about a technical mistake or a delayed service. It is about a complete absence of basic human decency from someone who carries the Mavis name on his shirt, Brandon. I came in during an emergency. I didn’t demand favors, and I didn’t raise my voice. All I expected was professionalism or at the very least, empathy.
What I received instead was apathy, attitude, and a disturbing level of immaturity. Brandon didn’t just fail to help. He made a difficult situation worse. His dismissive behavior was not only inappropriate, it was completely out of place in a brand that presents itself as customer-focused and community-driven.
If this is the kind of person Mavis chooses to represent their brand, then something is seriously wrong with the hiring process. It doesn’t matter how skilled your technicians are if the person at the front desk destroys trust in a matter of minutes.
This wasn’t just a bad day. This was a clear sign that Brandon should not be in this position. I sincerely hope someone at corporate reads this and understands that professionalism is not a task, it is a mindset. And Brandon is clearly not equipped with it.
