Great experience
We were unable to find our desired vehicle locally so worked with McDonald Hyundai in Littleton, CO. 4 1/2 hours away. John Kiramy Kept us informed the entire time as to where the vehicle was in the process of being perfect for the sale. Upon our arrival at the dealership we were greeted by a professional who showed us to John's work area. John showed us all the details of the vehicle and had us operate everything in a ride-along to make certain we understood how all the options functioned. Spencer Armijo worked us through the finance piece and all the options with warranty etc. Both folks were easy to deal with and any others we came in contact were friendly as can be. This a clean well run operation. Would definitely recommend them for a great experience in purchasing a vehicle.

2022 Hyundai Tucson roof rails recall, On three occasions vehicle has been to the service department and parts were supposedly ordered, then we received a call saying the parts are in schedule an appointment, we have left the vehicle at the dealership three different occasions all day long, McDonald service department called and said vehicle is ready, when we arrive the repairs are not complete because the parts are not in a total waste of time finding rides to and from the dealership, The Mcdonald dealership has no respect for its customers, and I guarantee you my next vehicle will not be a Hyundai or purchased from any Mcdonald dealership.

Be Careful
Just want to warn all potential buyers out there to be careful if you choose to work with McDonald Hyundai.

Be careful when you go in to look at their used vehicle inventory. Make sure it's actually a used vehicle.

Be careful when they let you test drive said USED vehicle that suddenly becomes a new vehicle when you are interested in talking about buying, though you asked multiple times why a 2024 vehicle with only 40 miles on it is used. "It was a loaner vehicle" they said. "It's been on the lot too long and needs to be demoted to used" they claimed.

Be careful when price posted on vehicle ends up being wrong and 'they are very sorry that the wrong pricing was placed on the vehicle but they'll still take care of you make sure you get a good deal.'

Be careful because when they say they'll take care of you they end up trying to sell you said vehicle for $10k over posted price on the vehicle.

Be careful when they tell you it's the only vehicle of it's kind, color, and style on the lot, there might actually be 3.

Be careful when they quote you one price and then paperwork comes out with a completely different one. But instead of telling you the price they tell you your monthly payment and try to sell you add ons without actually telling you the price of the vehicle.

Be careful when they tell you you have to finance through them if you want any deals or incentives.

Be careful when the sales manager comes out to "apologize" for all the mistakes that have happened over the last 5 hours and then offers to show you their line up of used cars. The line up we were originally interested in so how do we actually know you will show us a used car?

Be careful when they have 4 different people from the dealership reach out to you through text, email, and/or phone message saying they want to do right by the customer but when you respond they tell you their bottom dollar is more important than you.

Why 2 stars? Their water was cold and amazing and the bottles their water came in were made of pretty good plastic so I've been refilling it and using it at the gym. They might not know how to get their story straight on whether a car is new or used or be honest in their pricing and deals, but they sure do know how to provide high quality water.

Incorrect information, no return calls no response to requests
I took my Hyundai Elantra for recall repair. I sent an email the day after I made my scheduled appointment asking if I could have them also check why my car had a leak. It was at least a week before my appointment. I never received a response. The day I took my car in I asked if they could check the leak as well. Then I was told normally I needed to give them a 2 day notice. I showed the Service guy the email. I paid $291.00 + taxes and was given an incorrect diagnosis. I continued to text for a quote of how much it would cost to fix what they told me. I spoke to the Service guy and still no response. I will not use McDonald Hyundai for service. I was lied to and ignored when requesting information about my vehicle. Seems like they knew not to give me a quote so they could raise the price when I was going to take my car back for the repairs. I doubt they did a diagnostic and just charged me for it.Thank goodness I will not ever use them. And will not recommend them to anyone!

Lied on paperwork they sent me and then finance manager was very rude and hostile!
I bought a 2023 Tucson plug in hybrid. Sales process was ok- I did like my salesperson Joe Dolly. They did require me to finance it so the dealership would make more money. Mcdonald's ran my credit, said it was great and they gave me a loan with a bank. Vehicle was not charged when I picked it up. Then the issue began- I got a letter in the mail from McDonald's saying 1 they were refusing me credit 2 they did not run my credit bureau 3 they did not contact any banks. All these were untrue! I have a loan and already paid most of it off. I called Joe- she had a finance manager call me back who was Very Rude. Refused to listen. Did NOT apologize. I said I wanted to be done and was just going to pay the loan off and he said if I did they would sue me! I said I was concerned that a notice saying I was denied credit (FALSE) would hurt my great credit rating and he said "you can go check it out." It was their mistake- they should be the ones to check it out and fix it!

MAKE THEM WASH THE CAR BEFORE YOU PURCHASE - DO NOT BUY WARRANTIES

I do not recommend Suzanne Dumont, Derek Ballew, or the ass clown Ray Armijo (or Alderette to match the website) at Hyundai. Originally we came to purchase a Hyundai for my mom but I ended up purchasing a used Lexus for myself. During the walkthrough the car was dirty and upon pointing out a scratch on the side all Suzanne said was “all these cars have scratches, even the new ones”. After purchase they had to keep it overnight to fix some molding from the windshield being replaced and said they would detail it. Upon picking it up the next day I saw a severe scratch on the bumper like someone dragged something right down the middle and the hood looked like someone tap danced on it. This was not made known to me prior to purchase and no where on the paperwork did it say how bad the scratches were. I went back in to the dealership because they had the audacity to put their branding stickers on a vehicle they were too lazy to buff and I wanted it removed. I spoke to Derek the sales manager with Suzanne and she said “you knew about the scratches”, I told them I found out about the scratches the next day when the car was clean and after the purchase. Then Derek basically rushed me out saying he’ll call me in the afternoon. Three days later and no call and when I tried to call his direct line it had been forwarded to the receptionist.

I thought I would try to speak to the GM Ray who basically started yelling at a female, hiding behind his phone saying that “I bought a used car and they are sold as is” when I tried to speak he interrupted me and then said “maybe I should call back when I’m ready to listen to him”. I hung up because I WILL be coming in to the dealership to see if that pompous ass Ray would like to try to speak to me like that I’m person.

As is to me means the dealership making a customer aware of any/all body damage to the vehicle so the customer can make an informed decision, which they failed to do. Now, instead of trying to do the right thing, the papers are signed and any customer service they had went with me as I drove off the lot.

This dealership and these people I encountered are the epitome of a used car lot and it is mostly family members that work here because clearly turds don’t fall far from the asshole, Especially you RAY! I feel sorry for the customers that choose this awful place of business! They are professional ass kissers until you buy! We did end up buying my mom a Hyundai but at Arapahoe Hyundai and that is where I suggest everyone goes!

Worst service in the Denver metro
McDonald Hyundai is absolutely the worst. Made an appointment and brought my vehicle in to be serviced and was told it didn’t have enough miles on it to get the oil changed under their maintenance plan. Even showed us on the computer how “it wouldn’t be covered” Ironically, the very next day had my oil changed at Arapaho Hyundai, completely covered by maintenance plan, not one hassle!!! McDonald is full of liars trying to avoid doing maintenance! This is not the first time this has happened. Please head to Arapahoe!! Amazing! Great customer service!

The service and customer service is horrible, we have taken our vehicle there multiple times for the same issue and we still have the issue vehicle is not working properly. Our Tech said they have made repairs and have charged me 2k mostly in labor because the parts were only 100 dollars. When I confronted them and asked for a manager I was treated rudely and felt blown off just to rush me out of there. I am an elderly, disabled women and do not know much about vehicles, but I felt taken advantage of. When I ask for some of my money back because my car still was not fixed they got upset and said I WILL NOT RECEIVE A REFUND. They told me I had a rodent infestation and that was why it still is not fixed.

Buyer beware - Does not honor warranty
My 2016 Hyundai Tucson was in the McDonald Hyundai service department for OVER 3 MONTHS as my service advisor,?Daniel, did literally nothing to advocate to Hyundai corporate when they were refusing to fix my engine under warranty. I am the original owner and the vehicle is only 6 years old with 85k mileage - well below Hyundai’s 10yr/100k warranty. Daniel was completely unresponsive - in 3 months I spoke to him 3 times - once on the phone and two times when I went and stood in front of him until he could speak to me. I left messages with front desk staff, voicemails and email and he NEVER responded - I could never get updates on the status or explanation of next steps. I have signed on the the Hyundai Oil Consumption Class Action Lawsuit hoping to get compensated for them not honoring their warranty.,

Buyer beware
Flew in from another state to pick up a Certified Pre-Owned 2021 Ioniq with 8432 miles. We already own a 2022 Ioniq and loved it so much we wanted a second one. Talking with the sales person Kyle McMillen on the phone, he told us that this vehicle was a retired service loaner. We were picked up at the airport and taken to the dealership to make the purchase. Our sales person was not there so someone else handled the paperwork. No Problem. Were told that the sales person needed to sign off on the paperwork later and they would email me all the documents the next day. Friday. (I had to ask for the paperwork a week later). Upon loading the vehicle for our return home I notice there is a trailer hitch installed. When I inquire about that they say "our mistake, yeah this car is actually a lease return". Red flag for me. Paperwork is done. We are now driving home. Spend the night in Glenwood Springs. Next morning it is lightly snowing and forecast for a bunch of snow. We continue to not get stuck. Driving the car on the open road home we notice that the car is pulling to the right. We have not hit anything or taken it off road or anything of the sort. All smooth roads. After getting home we make contact with the Kyle at the dealership to inform of the pulling to the right. Vehicle needed an alignment. Also there were missing body parts underneath due to the trailer hitch install. He immediately referred us to his brother Kenneth McMillen the sales manager. I shared my concern about the alignment and the issue of a trailer hitch being installed. Kenneth made my point of concern perfectly by stating "there is no way of knowing if anything was towed with the car". Thank you Captain Obvious. Kenneth informs me to take the car to an alignment shop and get an alignment. Then tells me to let him know how he can help. I get the alignment and let him know he can help by covering the $130 cost and sending me the missing factory installed underbody parts. All this to a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle that passed their 173 point inspection. Kenneth informs me the dealership would go out of business by fixing all the pre-owned vehicles and then does not reply back. Paid full asking price of a vehicle that was supposed to be a retired service loaner. Passed their 173 point inspection but still needed an alignment and has missing under body parts and a trailer hitch. I feel that this dealership cannot be trusted. Wanted to warn others to beware. Clearly by living out of state I will never do business with this dealership again but that would be the same for me if I lived around the corner from them. On a side note it has been almost a month and they have still not given me the title. Wonder if there is a problem with that.

Known issue with no resolution or concern to correct it!
I tried calling today to your services team directly and spoke to a very rude representative to discuss the continual issues I have been having with Apple Car Play. He proceeded to tell me I could drop my car off but nothing could be done. He said its a known issue and there is currently NO ETA to fix this. He indicated he's had troubles and everyone is having troubles and nothing can be done.

Not only did he not provide me any type of solution, but he didn't even offer to document my call or offer if there IS going to be a fix in the future that I would be contacted. What are you all doing to fix this KNOWN issue? It seems as if you can just tell your customers "good luck with that".

I even indicated I would try and find SOMEONE who could potentially correct this issue and all the rep said was "okay". Zero care to actually help a customer out and try and have a conversation about how this could be corrected. I was extremely put off by the conversation and will not continue to come for regular maintenance services if this is how customers are going to be treated.

Not happy with the services/customer service provided!!
