Customer Service Nonexistent After Sales
Terrible customer service, which ends the moment your purchase is complete. After speaking with two salespersons and a finance person, we were told that we could put a $3,000 payment on our credit card once the 'no payment for ninety days' offer ended. Upon receiving the first notice from Mazda Financial Services, I was then told that this wasn't an option. On multiple occasions, I spoke with management, who promised they would 'call back in twenty minutes'. That never happened. I was then told that I would have an answer by the end of the week. Likewise, that didn't happen. Upon asking to speak with said individual, I was told that both my partner and I misunderstood our conversations during the purchase. There was no accountability for poor communication, poor follow-up, and a lack of professionalism and/or training on behalf of their salespersons and finance personnel. In a field where quality customer service and communication is valued, they were sorely lacking. I will not give them my business, and likewise will discourage my friends and colleagues from doing so.

Be Cautious
They were not trustworthy from the start. They lied and tried to switch things up once we got to financing. It should have been as simple as producing docs to my bank and they would get a check for the purchase within days. Instead they insist on running your credit and comparing rates with affiliated lenders. Fortunately I was not attached to the vehicle, so when they refused to work with my bank, I returned it.

Loving my new car, but will not be returning for my next purchase or recommend to anyone
This review pertains to only the Sales/Finance Department: First, I want to commend Octavia and Clark for their outstanding service. They were incredibly patient, answered all my questions thoroughly, and never made me feel pressured to make any decisions. They made me feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer. However, my experience took a turn for the worse when I entered the finance office. The process took an agonizing THREE hours, and during two of those hours, we sat in complete silence. The financial manager made multiple errors, forcing us to restart the process, which resulted in the final documents being confusing. Additionally, the odometer value on the documents was incorrect.

To make matters worse, the dealership failed to follow through on my request to have the license plates sent to the dealership for pickup. It has been almost three months, and I still have not received my plates. My temporary plates expire in one week, which is causing some anxiety. I tried reaching out to the dealership via text on 04/14 and 04/21, but I received no response. I eventually spoke with the GM on 04/24, who told me that the DMV had made a mistake by not following written instructions. However, upon contacting the DMV, I discovered that the dealership had submitted the form using an incorrect method, and now I need to go through the reinstatement process to get my plates sent to my home address.

Loving my new car, but will not be returning for my next purchase or recommend to anyone.

Adding on options you dont ask for and charging you for them
During my discussions with Gladstone Mazda I noticed a charge of 1200.00 + for the green car package. I found out that all the green car package is, is a few add ons that you never agreed too but they put them on you car regardless of whether you want them or not and then charge you up the butt for them. After telling them many times that I won't pay the green car package because I dont want it. There response was pretty much, to bad we put it on every car. They scam every customer that buys a car there. My uncle who's been selling cars for 30 years even said it's a scam and based on the YouTube video he watched detailing what the package is, he said he figured there was about 300 to 400 value in the add ons and any time a dealer charges you for add on that you didn't order or want that they were scamming you and run run run. I will say that Lydia the sales rep I was working with was awesome and I would have given her my business but for her manager.

Pay close attention to your lease quote.. THIS dealer will change it and also SLAMM you on a GREEN PACKAGE
I spoke to this dealer about a CX-5 and ended up with a fantastic sales person. The challenge with this dealer is they slam you with a "Green Package" that is already installed on their vehicles. I repeatedly told the sales manager that I did not want the package. In the end I felt slammed on this package and want to make sure that ANY prospective customer knows that in the end, this results in an increase of $895. Additionally, pay attention to your money factor.. I was quoted just 2 days earlier at Mazdas tier 1 credit rate of .0010 and ended up signing a lease at .0017, which makes a huge impact to your lease payment. All in all, I enjoyed working with the sale person, Tine.. But this dealership is slamming "Green Packages" and will NOT negotiate at all.. I would return again if they changed their sales practices as I really felt that the dealer would take advantage of me any avenue possible. +++ Sales people - - - Dealer will increase your money factor or APR and Slamm a $900 Green Package that will by far make this the WORST deal on a lease in the area.. BEWARE and PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

Started well ended up very disappointed
Had a great buying experience working with Joey. He was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Purchased a new 2021 CX5 at a great price, however the day after purchase it had a check engine light. Service department then tells me it needs a new thermostat valve sensor. I’ve now been waiting over 3 weeks for the part, and can’t drive the car. The dealership has made no effort to apologize, provide a rental car or provide any kind of support other than to say just wait for the part. I wouldn’t have purchased the vehicle if I had known it had an issue I wouldn’t be able to drive it...David Valdez at the service department has been great to work with.

Bad experience they took an advantage on me
This i s a bad experience to me when i went to buy a car they didn't even say about there offers and then when i did test drive they gave me one car which has 16 miles and at the time of delivery they said car has 44 miles so i suggest not to go there and buy any cars. Even today when i went to buy all weather mates they are taking an advantage on me and pricing me more pls be careful like these dealers. Is there any way can we report to there head office like this dealers and cancel there licence

They will screw you over
If I could give this company -5 stars I would.

They screwed my girlfriend over and made her feel like she was being taken care of and then stuck her with a car $15,000 in NEGATIVE equity! So they took in her trade way back of what it was worth... and sold her on multiple ridiculous additions that you don't need to buy. She had to claim bankruptcy because she could not make the payments. These people will try and sneak everything past you on the paperwork. I AM TELLING YOU READ THE FINE PRINT. THESE ARE THE SNAKES OF THE INDUSTRY AT THEIR SLIMIEST.

They told her they would take care of her and ended up causing her more problems that I have ever seen in my life. I used to work in the industry and trust me. These are one of thee sketchiest car dealers out there.

I ENCOURAGE YOU TO BUY A CAR ELSEWHERE. ALSO DON'T GET SUCKED INTO ANY ADDITIONS ON THE CAR SUCH AS PAINT CHIP PROTECTION, WARRANTIES, GAP, OR ANY OTHERS. It is just money makers for them. They mark them up ten fold then the actual cost you could get elsewhere.

Shady Business
Shady dealership. Me buying a car was contingent on getting the Apple carplay retrofit for free when it released. Now they're saying they will not honor that verbal agreement and will charge me $500. This was a five star review that I am now dropping to one star. Shady shady business. By the way I know people that work at corporate. I got the family and friend discount from the corporate office in Irvine, CA and will be sure to let them know what's happening.

WOW! start-2-finish, truly a remarkable experience!
It has been pleasure working with Gladstone family during the purchase of my new Miata. I could not have wished for a better experience, hands down, Gladstone rocks! Compared to other local/regional dealers, Gladstone has been the easiest to communicate with for online inquiries. Lynn Sanchez has done an AMAZING job with sending prompt and through replies to all my inquiries. The out-the-door quote Lynn has provided was, by a large margin, better than what other dealers have offered.

I scheduled an evening appointment and when I arrived the Miata was parked inside the showroom for inspection and test drive. Few minutes behind the wheel was long enough to fall in love with the Mazda's masterpiece. It was quick & easy to fill out the paper work and get approved for financing. Daniel has helped me with signing relevant documents. I've been offered various dealer packages/services, and decided to add pre-paid factory recommended maintenance plan to my purchase. Overall, I rate my experience as 6x stars (out of 5x)! Do yourself a favor and avoid the hassle; check out the Mazda at Gladstone for your dream car. You won't be disappointed, I promise! :)



By the way, did I mention that I drove off the lot with a full tank of gas? ;)

Second Purchase from Gladstone Mazda
The first car I bought was stolen (!) and I had to pick out a new one. The entire staff at the dealership made the experience of purchasing a new car so much less stressful which was just what I needed. I got a great deal and I’m so impressed with the way I was treated. They even returned my rental car for me!

To get the "best" results, you need the "best" people on your staff.
Carmen Lukowski and Daniel Lara both went "over the top" to get me the vehicle I wanted, at a price/deal that I could afford. Before retirement I hired, trained and managed salespeople for over 20 years. I would have been excited and proud to have had either, but preferably both, of these people on my staff and helping me build our organization.

Always a good experience
Needed an oil change the day I was moving out of town. Always nice and ready to help. Even helped with a tire issue so I wouldn't have to stop again at tire store.
