Car rattle
Took our car in to see where the rattle was coming from. Got a call from Keith explaining the issue and the options available. With the option we chose they weren’t sure if they could have it done that day. I explained that I had an appt scheduled and they were able to get it done!

Great towing and service
My car broke down on a Wednesday night and we were scheduled to leave for vacation Friday morning. Martin’s towed my car and fit the repair into their schedule first thing Thursday morning so we had the car back that same day. They called me throughout the repair to let me know what they found and the expected cost. I will definitely call them for any future service on my car. I highly recommend them.

Oil chage
I came in for an oil change and courtesy check,I got a call that my oil pan plug was stripped and would just spin so they would have to order an oil pan and might take a couple days to get it in and got a qoute of 460 so I said go ahead and let me know when its done that I have another vehicle I can use in the meantime.When I got the call that it was done I was told the quote I received was incorrect that my total was over 1000.So I have 3 issues.1 if my plug was faulty how did I never notice an oil leak? 2 Had I received a quote for 1000 I would have taken the option offered to top off the oil and wait on repair and just come pick it up.3 When I picked it up I was told that the courtesy check was never done.Very disappointed in all aspects of my visit.

Thanks for leaving a review and I apologize for your experience.  After talking with the tech and service advisor, it was certainly an error on our behalf that we did not provide you with an accurate quote for the job.  To remove/replace the oil pan on a V8 Explorer, we had to remove many parts of your vehicle, totaling to just under 7 hours of labor.  To answer your question, there was not any type of oil leak occuring from the plug.  However, the plug would not have been able to tighten back into the oil pan once it was removed (for the standard oil change) due to it being frayed/stripped.  I understand your frustration and disappointment and would be happy to do a complimentary oil change on your vehicle in the future for the oversight.  Please contact us at any time about this.

Forgetful?
Haven't been here for years. Last time they forgot to tighten the oil plug. All my oil leaked out.

First time customer.
This was my first visit to Martin's Auto Service and I am very pleased with their service. My appointment was for 9 am and they promptly took my car into the service area for the oil change and state inspection that I had asked for. In about an hour the service technician came out to let me know my car was finished and where it was parked. I had an oil change coupon that I had downloaded from their website which and was pleased with the cost of the visit. They also provided me with a detailed list of everything that was checked during the inspection and reminded me to make an appointment for a check up when my car reaches 100,000 miles. I was very pleased with their service and the friendly employees. This will be my go to place for auto service from now on.
