Pass up on this
I used Love Auto originally for an oil change and thought they did okay , being they are a Christian organization I suppose that's where I put my biggest trust in to. Unfortunately I've put 5 k into my vehicle with Love Auto , for me it was cheaper then buying a newer car. I had them put in a brand new alternator that they later claimed they don't recall putting in , and eventually messaged to say they will put one in after I was certain they had put one in - I thought that's what I paid for, according to my receipt that's what they put in .... I've had them put in transmission work as well which I had to return the car the day after due to the vehicle being returned with lights lit up that weren't to start with and it didn't feel "safe" and I was right - returned it , they said I now had to put nearly another 1 k into my car - wound up being a clock spring and some other things , but tell me why my light for my air bags come on constantly. When I went to PA after my 5 k "fix" my car died on me in the PA mountains , it was the battery - why because the shop guys didn't secure it properly , and yes I have video of that, and the mechanics brought up other issues - the tire wasn't put back on correctly after their work and couldn't flown off killing us or someone else , it's shoddy work and it's not as if I was asking for a discount , I paid over 5 k to the shop and was offered for my trouble a "FREE OIL CHANGE " I'm unsure what happened or why I'd get treated in such manner when I've been nothing but kind. Lesson learned I would NEVER take my car back to LOVE AUTO and not even for something as simple as a oil change , I'm now trying to take it to a new shop to see if all the work they've claimed they did was done properly or done at all , since I have messages where they don't even remember ever installing a alternator then later say oh ya we will get that in for you today --- um WHAT!?! it was supposed to be in. Pretty sad if you ask me. Mechanics should be held to a higher standard, unsure if it's just young kids doing half arsed work or what.
