Best first time experience than I expected.
Yesterday on Monday, I stopped into Lone Star Repair Service Inc. who was referred to me. I was told to speak with Frankie, the owners son. I explained to Frankie that I was hearing a rattling noise from the front of my car. He suspected it was a suspension issue. He put the car up on the lift and noticed corrosion on the front two wheels. He said the front rubber and metal struts only needed to be replaced. The rear struts were in good condition and needed no work. I told him to do the work and I also needed oil change too. I asked him how soon could he start the work and he said tomorrow morning works for him. I never expected such a quick response. I brought the car into the shop at 9am. Luckily when he removed the two front wheels, he noticed that the brake pads were also in bad condition and needed to be replaced. Frankie moved quickly to get my car repaired quickly and also arranged car transportation to take me home while they worked on my car. My car was ready to be picked up at 1 pm which was the quickest and best repair I ever expected.
All the employees were very nice and helpful plus efficient at their positions and easy to deal with.
I’m very grateful for being referred to this auto repair shop and their prices were very reasonable too.
I highly recommend people in need for car repairs use this auto repair service shop.

Lonestar is the best!!
Whether car repairs, a quick tow, or an unplanned “Quick fix”… Lonestar is knowledgeable, reliable, and professional…more like a good old fashioned small town garage. You wouldn’t expect to find them in a big city like Stamford.. $$ are reasonable too!!

EVERYONE is friendly, honest & accommodating
Have dealt with Lone Star for many years since my first experience with AAA. After having them service both my cars and doing an excellent job, I wouldn’t think twice about trusting them to work/repair my cars (unlike the dealers) As a matter of fact THEY fixed an issue the dealer couldn’t.

Honesty in answers about repairs etc
Honesty In their review of repairs. I already knew of a potential problem that usually wouldn’t be caught in a normal check up but they caught it. That makes me feel safer behind the wheel. Price is good vs. the dealership.

Friendly, clear and thorough
As Seinfeld noted, finding a good mechanic is hard. The Lone Star team was very thorough in finding the root cause of problem I couldn’t clearly explain. A different shop diagnosed a different, far costlier solution, so I am pleased Lone Star didn’t try take advantage of a mechanical novice like me.

2016 Jeep Wrangler repairs
Staff was great, from the tow to the shop. Great communication, very transparent with what was going to be done, as well as the pricing. Went in for one thing, but the team caught a few other issues. The process was seamless and I do believe I got the most bang for my buck, All things considered. They've earned a return customer out of me.

Outstanding service as always.
I have used monster for both towing and for car service and they’ve become my go-to mechanic. I recently had my car serviced and brakes done and they were fast and professional as always.
