Comprehensive service, quick turnaround
The team got to work right away on my last minute service booking. They were able to turn around one of my cars in just a couple of hours and get the second one in before the end of the day. Pricing was reasonable, staff was flexible and friendly. This is my first time working with these guys and at this point I'm just assuming they did a great job. But as a local transportation company with a small fleet, I expect to use them quite a bit moving forward.

"Friendly Staff, but Quote Was Too High"
First of all, Jen in the office is awesome! She was friendly, professional, and made the process of getting an estimate easy and straightforward. Great customer service experience from her.

My vehicle needed the A/C compressor and condenser replaced (R&R). When I received the estimate from Local Hero’s, I was blown away by the $2,500 quote. I had to step back and take some time to consider my options.

One challenge I faced was living in Sonoma and working in Petaluma, which made coordinating vehicle repairs more complicated. I initially hoped that using a local shop like Local Hero’s would make the logistics easier for drop-off and pickup without interfering with my work schedule.

Ultimately, I decided to get a second opinion from another shop that came highly recommended by friends. I was also fortunate to have people offer help with transportation while my car was being repaired.

The second shop completed the same repairs for $1,300 total—a significant difference from the Local Hero’s estimate.

While I appreciated the professionalism and friendliness at Local Hero’s, especially Jen, the pricing led me to seek an alternative. I wanted to share this to provide honest feedback about the quote and the factors that led to my final decision.

Truck a/c
Brought them an old first in Dodge with an AC that didn’t work and it was very problematic for them to fix but they saw it through to the end and did a great job and it works well .so I’m very happy
