Horrible Experience
Let me preface by saying: I don’t relish writing a negative review but I have unfortunately exhausted all my options and wanted to warn future customers of this dealership. I traveled to Maryland from Pennsylvania and bought my car in May 2024. It was an easy transaction at the time. However, I purchased a warranty on the car through the dealership (a huge mistake) and have been trying to cancel it for the past four months. They have not returned any of my calls or emails within these four months, completely ghosting me. I was within the cancellation window and was owed a full refund. Since this dealership had been so unresponsive, I had to contact the warranty company directly and ask them to assist me in canceling the warranty. This is not something I should have to do but I wanted my full refund. The warranty company was able to cancel it by sending a cancellation form to the dealership. They heard back from the dealership the day they sent the cancellation form, but for the past four months, I haven’t heard a word from them. The dealership is responsible for issuing my refund, yet at this point, I haven’t seen a refund from them. They are holding my money hostage. It’s ridiculous and this process has been exhausting. They only want your money, they don’t care about anything else. Word of advice - DO NOT buy a warranty with your vehicle, or even better, don’t purchase anything from this slimy and unethical dealership. I’m sure there is better out there. Avoid it altogether and save yourself the headache and money.
