Totally incompetent
I've always thought that the mechanics and the service department at Keys HYUNDAI VAN NUYS were incompetent and today I was proven correct. I was in for service in April for 20,000 miles. I am very anal about my brakes, rotors, and brake pads. I always ask them at the end when they present me with the paperwork about the brake pads. I was told that my brake pads were in great shape and they would check them again on the next service. That was only 3000 miles ago. This week I began hearing grinding and scratching sounds from the left side front end. I tried to get into Keys HYUNDAI NUYS but you can't even get through on the telephone. It is always a major nightmare to get an appointment. They often don't have appointments for weeks, expecting you to drive around risking further damage while you await for your appointment date. So, I took my car to my old mechanic who I used to go to before I bought this piece of garbage they call a Kona SEL by the way this car has been nothing but trouble since the day I brought it home. I've had both mirrors replaced, as well as the wiring because of error messages in that system, I had a computer module replaced because of error messages in the drivetrain, and now after I was told that my brake pads were great, I'm finding out that not only were they not great, but the front and rotors both have to be replaced, only the brake pad, and I have to have brake service. $400. Keys HYUNDAI NUYS cost me $400 because of their ill advice and incompetence. I will be coming in this week with that bill to speak with the general manager of HYUNDAI Van Nuys, and the service manager. That's not gonna be pleasant.

Furthermore, I'm going to go online and make comments on every platform that allows a review and I am going to trash Keys HYUNDAI of Van Nuys as much as possible. If I can prevent one person from being screwed by this business, then I am going to do it.
