I was charged heavily for a top engine rebuild and now its been leaking oil ever since.
They advised me that my top end needed to be rebuilt at a cost of $3600 which is insane for that old SUV but I allowed them to do it since it was there and I hoped even if I overpaid $1500 it would be done. Well ever since they did the work in mid October 2021 it has been leaking both oil and now tranny fluid. They have had me bring it back and drop it off 6 times now and that doesn't count all the times I brought it back to them to show them the issues. Each time they claimed its fixed and each time it still leaks oil. This last time they broke a vacuum hose of a solenoid in the engine bay which made my transmission light go on. So not its back at the shop and they had me drop it off Friday stating it would be done by end of day Saturday. I never heard from them on Saturday and tried to call and forced to leave a message which of course they never bothered to call me back. Now it is Monday and its still at the shop and may I stress it has been there now 6 times for oil leaks stemming from the work they did. They don't communicate, they over promise and under deliver. And I have to mention they had to do an oil change when they repaired the motor and they overfilled the oil by more than a quart. I wouldn't trust this place with a bicycle. Another guy was in there complaining saying his son was just told by them he needed all his brake pads replaced. The dad brought in the pads after he removed them from the car and they are all perfectly fine and had another 20-30k left in them. At this point they should have paid for the work to get done at a shop that can actually do the repairs or they should have rented me a car and kept mine until they figure out how to fix the issue but this non stop taking it in and then dropping it off is over. I have filed formal complaints everywhere.
