Eddy and crew are always there to keep my 1977 GMC pickup on the road. Always efficient and getting things wrapped in a timely manner. Pricing is fair and they stand behind the work. It’s difficult to find a mechanic you trust, especially as the owner of an older vehicle. For the most part, a lot of shops only know modern-ish stuff. I went into car tech because the mechanic told me I had two bad catalytic converters in my 2005 Toyota sienna van and they tested it and told me my converters were fine. It was a sensor. I thought I was gonna spend 2500 to $ 3 grand and I ended up paying 300 bucks for a bad sensor, talk about honesty, these guys are golden 💯

They're one of the muffler shops that have the permit to weld and after they welded the cracked front end of my muffler, they also showed me a potential issue I should bring to my mechanic next time I'm in. They then also helped source an affordable back-end muffler, and installed that the following week.
So happy with them! The only thing I wish is if there would be an appointment time option, though I can understand why the first come, first serve method is helpful. But couldn't be happier using Kartek!

Got me in right away with a quick turnaround. New engine mounts, brakes, rotors, replaced windshield wiper reservoir. Roughly half of what the dealer would have charged me. Highly recommend.
