Unresolved Repair
After almost 2 months of my vehicle being @ Hyundia of Ocala with 2 attempts of picking up my vehicle after them stating it was ready, the issue still remains.
On my initial visit to Hyundai, I requested an oil change & informed them about the engine light, along with telling them what the issue was as I had AutoZone test it. During the oil change, they sent me a multi-inspection report which never indicated an issue with the battery, which is now an issue, along with other issues arising over the course of the vehicle being in their possession the entire time. I ended up paying a little over $650 for the initial items that was reported at check in then they said there was another diagnostic test done which indicated something else was wrong but this entire time the vehicle has been in there possession. On several ocassions I went to the dealership to retrieve some items out of my vehicle to find the key faub not working & the battery dead. My vehicle was parked outside on the back not in the repair garage. Unfortunately, we had to use the manual key to open the car & I had to climb through the back to get what I needed as we could not open the hatch due to the battery being dead but i was told nothing they did would cause the battery to die as if it was default upon my initial drop in but i paid because i was just ready to have my vehicle back & get this behind me. Please be advised, the temperature was in the the mid to high 90s.
When I went to pick up the vehicle on 8/7/2025 after them stating it was ready, I paid around $336 for a battery that wasn't an issue during the initial inspection all the while my vehicle was in their possesion. In addition, something on the front end of my vehicle was protruding outward as if my vehicle had been towed but they were able to pop it back in place but there were some scratches on the front end that I didn't recall being there. As of yesterday, the engine light was on again & riding rough
I attempted to drop it back off but they didn't have a loaner to give me. As of today, I do not have a loaner, I am stuck with my vehicle, which i am afraid to drive, I have had 2 loaners issued soon to be 3, which I am grateful for, 2 different service advisor but an unresolved repair still remains. I am exhausted.
