I needed this so I could make the decision whether to buy a truck, or not. I had to travel from the Hilo to the Waimea area, and was unfamiliar with repair shops there. Did some searches first, and called JAKL Automotive first because of all the positive reviews I'd read. Carl answered my call and was so helpful, and understanding; regarding my need. Later in the day, a detail developed and he was also able to resolve that issue as well. Jake, the owner and mechanic that performed the inspection was great. He was prompt, professional, thorough and allowed me to ask questions. After the inspection, he assisted his staff to provide an estimate for the work the vehicle required. While we waited, my son played pool in their waiting area... imagine that! While there, we had the opportunity to interact with many of the people that worked there, even other mechanics. Everyone was super, very personable and kind. Was very impressed with my entire experience there!
