Bad communication
I had a thurs am appointment and my vehicle was there when the shop first opened. I was suppose to be notified what repairs were needed. By thursday afternoon, nobody called me so i called them. Chris said vehicle hadnt been looked at yet, but i would be called when it had been looked at. Friday then came and went and no contact by garage. I then had to call monday morning for update. I was told vehicle was running and didnt need any immediate repairs. According to shop records, the vehicle needed some major repairs (over $2,000) and i had left a note that i would be ready to have the valve cover gasket replaced ($950). Chris never mentioned doing this repair. By monday, i decided not to use the shop due to lack of communication. I have 2 diesels and have used the shop for many years. Unfortunately, i cannot do business with a garage that cannot take the time to contact their customers. I checked my phone for any possible voice mails over the three working days from any missed calls and no contact from the garage to me. I have found another recommended garage that i will use for my car repairs.
