I have used Independent for years and sent a number of people there. Always good service from a knowledgeable staff. One of the very few automotive shops in town that I trust and will recommend.
Had my brakes done in time for a summer of towing. As usual 100% happy with the work and that they were done earlier than expected.

I’m so happy w the crew at Independent Automotive. It’s peace of mind knowing they know my truck inside and out. I love their attitude of “ fix it right the first time” with quality parts. Having worked in the auto repair trade most my life ( retired) I know the difference between trained technicians and just twisting nuts and bolts. Everyone I’ve referred to them has had a good experience. They’ve been consistently good over the years
They replaced the front axel on my daughter’s Subaru Outback, we dropped the car off on a Wednesday morning and thought it would be ready on Thursday afternoon at the soonest. We received a phone call that it was finished Wednesday at lunch. Quality service in a timely manner, I highly recommend Independent Automotive.
Independent Auto did an excellent job securing my loose bumper on my 2002 Saturn .... They also changed the oil and gave the car an inspection to find any future problems .... They have been taking care of our 2 2002 Saturns for years ..... Always good service ....
This is a bit of a trip for me to get to Independent Auto cuz I come down from Incline Village. It's always worth the extra trips to make our cars safe and reliable. Melissa, Jared, Jesse always fun to work with - work gets done and on time.
My car is 20 years old and I have been going to Indy for 12 years. I just had the engine rebuilt with a new timing belt, water pump, etc. The car drives like new! I have been to a lot of mechanics, Indy Auto definitely is the best. I take all my cars and trucks there. One of the most impressive things about them is they are really good at diagnosing and analysis of car performance. Their inspections are very thorough. They have saved me so many times. If you want your car running like it did on Day 1, I would visit Indy Auto. You wont be disappointed.
