Overcharging and NOT doing what they said
All the lights on the dash came on saying that the safety features were disabled. Amber said that the $250 diagnostics fee was because the technicians spend so much time actually diagnosing what’s wrong and making sure their estimate was right, and that they don’t just check the codes. Lies! All Lies! When I questioned needing both speed sensors for $1000 she said yep. Both sensors. She also said she would stand behind her estimate, and refund it if it wasn’t right.
Well, it wasn’t both rear sensors, it was only the right one. Also I need 2 tires (the same ones I have on there Kumho) not four, for $375 not $1065. When I asked her to stand behind her estimate she countered that she would stand way behind it! The manager offered to refund half. I don’t like being taken advantage of. I said if they won’t refund my money for work they said they would do but didn’t, I would just be dissatisfied go away, never come back and leave them a bad review. At this point Amber flipped a switch and started yelling at me over the phone that I was threatening her! She went from 0 to crazy in 1 hot second! I said that leaving a bad review for overcharging for services not rendered wasn’t threatening her. She said she didn’t want my business anyways, and to never come back. So here we are!

They tried to rip us off
We attempted to buy back our leased vehicle. They wanted to add on over $1500 of fees not in our a lease agreement. They insisted that this was normal. We went to another Hyundai dealership and did the buyout transaction with none of these fees. They definitely tried to take advantage of us. We will never go back. Never, never, never!

Was good till the car broke down after 25 miles After giving them over $22,000 and had to pay to have it fixed once they get your money they can care less about you. That’s how they treat disabled seniors

Don't stand behind their warranty
Will not replace a defective side mirror.. Nothing but excuses so they can save the dealership money. I'm still under warranty. My Palisade was purchased there brand new and never had a problem until mgmt changed.

Always a great experience when visiting Hyundai of Venice
I have been having my car serviced at Hyundai of Venice for almost a year now and always have a great experience, and this last time was even better! Thank you so much to the staff for all of their hard work, and especially Tiffany, she is amazing! Best customer service and overall just a wonderful person! Tiffany made my day with her smile, genuine friendliness and wonderful personality! Thank you again, will be back soon!

Great expectations/Great service!
Tiffany’s customer service was top-rate: she explained everything in great detail and kept me appraised of the timeframes and progress. The tech (Jimmy, I think) was professional and expert in his appraisal of the situation and how to solve an unusual problem. Thanks to them both; they deserve a raise!!!

I was scheduled for a tire rotation and oil change. All went very well. I waited for about 2 hours. I did not realize it would take so long. I should have asked. I would have asked someone to pick me up. It gave me a good opportunity to read my book though. So, all was well! The exterior of my car was washed for me - thank you! However, I think it would have been nice to have a quick vacuum and wipe down of the interior as well. Certainly, this is not a dealbreaker, just a nice touch.

Appreciate the friendly staff.
Was greeted warmly upon my arrival. They had knowledge of the service that I was planning on having done to my Hyundai from my phone call when I set up my appointment.
I appreciated the quick service when I came to pick up my car and the fact that it had been washed.
