After multiple issues and bad experiences, I do not recommend Hunter Hyundai for any routine maintenance or repair services. Most recently May 2023 I requested and got an appt. for 30,000 mile scheduled maintenance service. I waited in their dealership waiting room. I had driven and hour to get there from my home and when I got home there was an email from the service advisor that they had found additional service that the car needed. Really? they didn't discuss this with me while I was there!! It said those services could be complete during your current appointment if you provide the approval to proceed with the work!! Did they just forget to talk to me while I was actually there or did they decide I would come back for this additional, not under warranty service? One service they said I needed was a 4 wheel alignment for $119.95. Interesting enough they had done this alignment on the car less than 5 months before and charged the $119.95 then. Did they actually do it then or just charge me for it? Makes me wonder. On a different scheduled maintenance occasion the re port stated I declined to have the engine air filter changed. Again, no on consulted with me regarding the need to replace the air filter while sitting in the waiting area!! How could I decline something I was never told about?!! I really like the automobile, tho my wife hates it. For future service needs, I will see other options rather than return to this incompetent and questionable service place. How can I trust what they are saying?
