What used to be a 5 star shop has turned into a joke. We brought our vehicle in for repairs before a 1500 mile road trip.
We never got calls from them that the part was delayed, pushing service down to the wire to be completed the day of travel.
They guaranteed service would be done by a certain time, when we called around that time, work hadn’t even been started (twice).
They lied to our faces on multiple fronts so we had to cut our time loss and buy the part locally (which they said it wasn’t available locally, but the first Google result said otherwise) and bring it to another shop.
The other shop found the ACTUAL problem within 10 minutes (part HM ordered wouldn’t have even fixed it).
If you’ve got the time for trial and error, HM might be fine. If you don’t want to take the chance, go elsewhere.

The Best There Is...
HM is the best...period...the best. I have many cars...from exotics (like Ferraris)...to vintage (like old Mercedes and Jeeps)...to daily drivers (like BMW X5 and 528) and Haleem and his team know how to work on all of them. The prices are great, the work is top notch, and the timeliness is astounding. They diagnosed things that the dealers could not. For example, in my 1994 MB SL500, it would die driving down the road with no warning. The MB dealer could not fix it...and my old independent mechanic in Manchester could not fix it. But HM did (bad ECM that failed when it got hot due to a crack in the PC board). And my Ferrari 360 had tons of CEL problems...which HM sorted out after my old Ferrari independent could not. And my X5 had a very weird problem where a bad check valve that allowed make up air into the gas tank had failed...resulting in my tank collapsing due to the vacuum and it moving in the straps and hitting the driveshaft (and getting destroyed). The dealer could not figure it out but HM did. Go there...they are the best.
HM saved me $1000 over what the dealer would have charged me and the car runs great. Owning older cars can be a challenge and while I like to tinker at home some things, especially on Porsche's, are difficult to do if you don't have the experience. Glad to have found HM. They have my business in the future.

I never feel pressured into repair work. Where a dealer might really push to have it done “now”, HM advises you that a problem may need attention at some point and sets out a plan to look again at some time/mileage interval.
I’ve been using H&M for a while now. I go to them because they are always honest about the work that’s needed. They don’t try to upsell me on extra work. Plus their prices are fair and much cheaper than the dealership. I’ll continue to go there.
I went in for an oil change and ac recharge. The guys got me in and out in a timely manner. There service is much better priced than the dealership. Thanks Halem and your great group of mechanics!!
Simple change over from winter to summer tires done quickly and efficiently. The value comes from the guidance and help Haleem, Jacob and team provide on other car related projects. I’m no mechanic, I enjoy tinkering and doing small jobs, when I have questions, they have answers. When it comes to large or complex jobs, my only shop is HM Motorworks.
Value, Service and efficient crew of people. Notice several noticable changes which seemed to be improved customer service.
This crew of men get into the repair getting the customer out in mininal time.

I had an alignment done back in January and literally a week later hit a pothole on the hiway ruined two wheels, one tire, and threw out the front end. I explained all this to HM Motorworks and they quickly made an appointment to check out my car and did the alignment @ NO COST. I don’t know about you but this was HUGE for me and couldn’t have been more helpful. Thank you guys!
