Buyers Beware
Buyers Beware!

While I am sure the majority of folks who work at this dealership are great people, there are always those few who ruin it for the others. This was probably my 15-20th new car purchase in my life.

My salesperson Chris Fredericks provided us with one of the worst buying experiences of our lives. If you want someone who is honest and is truly trying to help, choose another salesperson…Insult to injury: I had called the dealership and left voicemails and emails asking about the permanent plates (in Texas the system is so antiquated, they mail them to the dealership instead of to your home). No return calls or messages. However, I did talk to a finance guy and two other salesmen, who told me and I am paraphrasing for all of them “Normally, the salesperson receives them and sends you an email and/or calls you when the plates come in.”

Today, 16 December 2024, I called the MVD and asked if they can look up plates by the VIN. I was told “…Those plates would have been received by the dealership at least 15-days prior to December 4” Since I purchased the car on 1 November, that makes sense…I finally reached Chris today to inform him of the facts and he stated “I don’t typically get notified of plates or really deal with plates.” I couldn’t take another lie from this guy, so I hung up. Here is his final text from minutes ago:

“I guess we got disconnected Curt. I don't have your plates here at the store and typically I am not the one who gets info on when we get plates here anyways. Will try and find out where they are.”

HORRIBLE After-Sales Experience AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP
I purchased a 2023 Hyundai Elantra Blue on May 24th. I LOVE the car. But my experience with this dealership has been, overall, absolutely TERRIBLE. When I took possession of the car, I was given one key fob and told another would be shipped to me after I signed a "We Owe". I confirmed if I didn't have it in 2 weeks I would call. I didn't have it in two weeks. I didn't even have it in a MONTH. It took me a text on June 6th (that was ignored), me calling on June 10th and being told a manager would call me back (they didn't, my salesman texted me). I then called again on June 18th and June 24th. I then found out from the parts department they'd never gotten the "We Owe" (and I wasn't even the first person that day to call and not have had their "We Owe" sent). Parts then had to transfer me to the used sales manager, Ross, who still didn't return my call. So I called AGAIN on June 25th and still heard nothing from Ross. Someone from another department did call me back and say they were shipping the fob and an emblem for my car (the one on it was mis-matched lettering) and they let me know that either Ross or Rusty would call me so they could coordinate my taking my car to a local dealership to have the fob programmed and the emblem put on my vehicle.
SURPRISE!! NO ONE has called me. I got the fob and emblem on June 28th. I have now called the dealership on July 5th and asked to speak to either Ross or Rusty, was transferred to a voicemail. NO CALL. I called and left a voicemail with the operator since no one answered on July 6th. STILL NO CALL. I called on July 9th, and now I'm still waiting to hear from someone.

At this point, I cannot would would not recommend this dealership to ANYONE. This is shoddy customer service and I've already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because I want to be DONE with this terrible after-sales experience and this HORRIBLE dealership.

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!

Excellent Car Buying Experience
I recently purchased a new car from Hiley Hyundai of Fort Worth and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Dillon, our salesperson, was exceptionally courteous, prompt, and transparent throughout the entire process. This was easily the smoothest new car transaction I've ever been part of. There was absolutely no upselling or unexpected surprises when we arrived at the dealership. Additionally, Marshall in the finance office was a pleasure to work with, making the financial aspects clear and manageable. I want to reiterate my thanks to both Dillon and Marshall for making this such a great experience. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a straightforward and satisfying car buying journey.

now they want me arrested
I have been trying to find a place to get my car serviced since Hiley said i cant go to any of theirs. Since i was barred i am now hearing from one of their other stores that i have a mental problem. Read dealer for the whole story. I have been put thru hell since the first week of march and its gotten so bad i am now forced to hire an attorney. If you have a choice i am just telling you what they have done to me. I wouldnt do business with them again if they offered me a new car free. I did business for 10 yrs and the minote i questioned Chad Hickey about a problem with my plates i got sent to hell. Ladies beware this dealership likes to bully women

dont ever question them
I was ordered off the property.by Chad Hickey because i dated question them about a problem with my handicap plates. This was the 2nd time it happened so i was told hiley no longer wanted me as a customer and not to come back after buying 11 cars. buyers Beware

Made a commitment then backed off.
Horrible business ethics. Confirmed a car deal and they ran my credit and agreed on the terms. As I am driving towards the dealership, i get a call that the car just got sold..Like why the hell did you run my credit then...Sneaky stealership...Stay away..Bad business and dishonest.

Hiley Hyundai not the best by far
I went in wanting to buy a Tuscon. I was trading in a truck and they offered me $4,500 less than other dealers had. I saw the deal they were offering and said that the trade in value they gave was too low and if they could bring that up some I would take the deal but they wouldn't budge not even a dollar. I took the truck to CarMax and they offered to buy it for $5000 more so I was going to sell it to them and buy the vehicle. Knowing that these cars sell fast I tried to get ahold of them the next business day but I left messages for the salesman and did not get a response for hours so I called and talked to another salesperson and he said they didn't have any for sale. I said then your web site is wrong and he rudely said no it isn't. I was looking at it while talking to him. My original sales person gets back to me the next day and said they have the vehicle but I had already found another one. Not the best customer service!

Poor dealership
My car broke down out of state after Christmas. Car had 9100 miles on it. Called my dealership’s service department for a little help. The guy basically laughed at me. Bad way to do business. Used to be a great place.

Had a great buying experience
Dillon and Chad were very responsive to my numerous inquiries. They were forth coming and honest and very patient with me, and I'm not the easiest to deal with. My buying experience was VERY quick, and I was out of the dealership in no time! Even with the tough market they pulled thru.
