As the owner of a 12-year-old Jeep, I'm very selective about where I take it for repairs. I usually stick to basic maintenance myself because I've had too many bad experiences with shops that overcharge or misdiagnose. Mostly because they see a woman come in with a Jeep and tac on extra costs and prices. But High Octane completely changed that for me.
From the moment I walked in, I experienced nothing but exceptional service. Charles (the owner) and Roberta (the office manager) are straight shooters. They clearly explained what was going on with my vehicle and laid out the steps to get it fixed. There was no fluff, no pressure--just honesty and real knowledge.
Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. I received timely calls and texts updating me on the status of my repair, which involved some significant work. And here's the kicker: they even applied the diagnostic fee toward the overall repair cost. That level of fairness and transparency is rare.
Speaking of fairness, when I reviewed the itemized invoice, I was impressed by how reasonable and transparent the charges were. No surprise markups--just honest work for a fair price. Labor charges were completely fair given the amount of work and overall avove and beyond customer service.
My Jeep's engine had shifted forward about 1-2 inches and required the engine mounts to be reset. This could've been a situation where a less ethical shop might have charged me thousands. But Charles went above and beyond, took care of it the right way, and didn't take advantage of the situation.
Most impressively, after visits to two other shops that couldn't identify a strange rubber rattle from the front passenger side, High Octane found it. Problem solved--finally.
Bottom line: This shop is the real deal. Trusted, honest, skilled, and kind. HIGHLY recommend. Absolutely worth the drive to get the job done right.
