I have bought three cars from Heritage but will never go back. Here is my experience and the timeline: May 26, arrived at dealership at 4:30 pm to purchase a car and I had a trade in. At 5:45, agreed on the price. I sat around for 3 hours waiting for finance to finish the purchase. At 9:00 pm, the finance guy was ready for me. I left at 9:30 ish. After over 5 hours, I wanted to get out of there.
The next morning, May 27, I realized I left my Maui Jim sunglasses in my trade in. I emailed my salesperson right away. I did not hear back so called Heritage at 12:07 pm and spoke to a manager. I informed him about my sunglasses. He was going to review. My salesperson was off that day. At 4:30, I drove to the dealership. An employee was going to help me. We found the car but she couldn’t find the keys. Apparently, no one knew where they were. She advised she will talk to my salesperson the next day.
On May 28, my folks went to the dealership around 1:45 for me since I was working. The dealer couldn’t find my car. It was moved to another dealer. At 3:45, my salesperson, called me. He said they couldn’t find my sunglasses and doubts they were stolen. I never accused any one of stealing. I wanted to speak to a manager. My salesperson said he will speak to one and someone will call me back. At 9:12 pm, I emailed my salesperson advising no on called me and I expect a call tomorrow morning.
May 29, at 12:03, I called my salesperson. No answer so left a message stating how unhappy I was. Called back at 4:43, spoke to Mark, one of the managers. He was going to have another manager get back to me. No call that night.
May 30, no calls from anyone.
June 2, still no calls.
Very unprofessional. Do not shop at Heritage Hyundai Towson.
