Two things I have always found make my life easier. A dentist that won't hurt me and a mechanic I can trust. I wouldn't trust Hayes in my mouth, but I would be comfortable recommending them to anyone for good service on my car and excellent customer service as an added bonus.
When my long time outstanding mechanic Todd Weck closed down his shop about 10 years ago, he referred me to Hayes as a trustworthy business with a good crew and fair prices. I've been going to them ever since and have recommended them to several friends and family.
On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give them at least a 15!!
