Overpriced work for simple request
Was charged nearly $200 for simple tire mounting. When the owner was queried, he just said it took an hour of labor and that’s what he gets. That is not a fair or equitable price for this level of labor. It should never take a qualified technician an hour to mount 4 tires. The weight dots were not even lined up with the valve stem, so I know it was less than a qualified technician performing the work.
When asked to pay the bill, the owner was questioned about the high fee associated with this work, he coldly stated that’s what he gets for labor. The work was already completed & I strongly believe that payment must occur when services rendered so I paid under protest. I felt that I was bent over the barrel on the charges and recommend that anyone having work performed here should get an upfront quote before services rendered.
