User beware
This date listed is for the most recent we were back for warranty service. The original was earlier this year for a vw 014 TDI that we had them do timing belt and water pump service. There were no problems prior to taking the car in. They also at the same time replaced the front lower control arms. They did the timing belt first and control arms last. Picked the car up after two days. Drove the car home 6 miles, in the driveway immediately dripping coolant. I open the hood and there is some coolant on the engine bay floor, I look under the car and there are parts hanging down laying loose. They forgot to put the brackets securing the water and fuel lines. The timing belt cover was loose and didn't find a leak. I spent Friday night checking things and cleaning the coolant. Took the car back Monday and they put the brackets back on and checked things. I realized then your supposed to flush the cooling system with the water pump replacement. VW's are touchy about the correct coolant and NOT mixing them. I asked about it. They said they flushed the cooling system and forgot to list it and charge for the service and coolant. ??
About 3-4 months later the control arm bushing are tearing again. 3k miles or so. Took the car back and they said they changed them.
I start looking and the sway bar is off center and hitting the chassis on one side. I contacted the service writer and no response. I actually think it happened the first time they did the control arms.
We now have to have the car inspected for other damage by a different shop or the dealer.
I'm not two days of work and the cost to fix the sway bar and inspection
I'm not even sure the car is safe to drive
