Brand new starter broke down and burnt cables 8 minutes after leaving dealership
This review is to inform Mr. Dane Luca, GM, Mr. Mike Pennachio, owner, Mrs. Nicole Roman Public Relations Director the not so satisfactory customer service I received from the Service Department manager Richard Bennis and Carlos Ferrer Service advisor. It is a long story and Mr. Bennis and Mr. Ferrer are well aware of it but it mainly started when I had to have my car towed in on the late afternoon of Monday 8/21/23 I called Carlos earlier that day (left him a message) to give him a heads up I had to bring in my car without an appointment. I did not hear back from him but I had my car towed anyway. I waited for him when I got there but he was busy, understandably so. After waited for about 25 min. I pulled him over for a few minutes and gave him the car keys, told him to call me at his earliest convenience to let me know after he re-verified the issue with the car. by Friday 8/25/23 I had not heard back from him. This went on for over two weeks. The new starter that was finally installed 9/12/2023 failed on the day I picked up the car, as I left the dealer . one at Nissan helped me out while I was stranded at 6:15 pm less than 1/2 mile from dealer. Had to tow car back at my expense per person I spoke at Nissan. I had to call 911 to have a cop pull up behind my car so I would not get hit and cause an accident while waiting for a tow. (More to this story but not able to write all of it due to character limits)
Bottom line, if your car is under warranty DO NOT USE GREEN ACRES or the one on RIVIERA BEACH, they just bought that one per Richard.
If your car is NOT under warranty DO NOT BOTHER TAKING IT THERE.
Nissan " CERTIFIED PARTS" are no better than if you go to Midas. YOU SPEND MORE MONEY with Nissan and they break. All of the diagnostic is waste of time and MONEY. and they do not call you back promptly. NOT AN APOLOGY for car leaving me stranded yet they expected that I did not get upset.
GO TO MIDAS IN LAKE WORTH, ask for Jordan or Sean. They are very nice and return your call on same day and it COST YOU LESS MONEY.
I will be calling Nissan Corporate again on Monday 10/9 to let them know that Green Acres did not even take their advise to call me back.
By the way Richard DID replace the battery IN MY CAR that their DEFECTIVE starter damaged for free, and because they took my car for a drive to test the car on second round the filled up the gas tank for free..
I WANT TO BE REIMBURSED for the tow because it was THEIR BRAND NEW NISSAN CERTIFIED STARTER that failed and cost me $1,174.92 AFTER A COUPON OF $250 OFF to have replaced first time around. It's not like
